can we do this? gunsmith has been around for years and there has never been an objectively good gun setup, and thats because guns are horrible for competitive. Giving one person the ability to remove another from the game is a terrible idea for competitions and is ridiculously easy to throw games/troll with. Yeah, guns are fun but fun has never been the #1 priority for the competition and variety has never been a factor when deciding to ban the dozens of roles and setups that arent allowed to be made competitive.

theres an inherent level of randomness associated with night 1 that cant be avoided. bomb can remove players n1 but they come with the cost of a town clear. its a much different thing than guns are.

ban the mafia as they can remove a player from the game with a random click.

ban all n1 setups.

They can't kill them considering cop can be CC'd. Regardless, stuff like that is exactly as dumb as how all your reasons to ban guns sounds to me.

a cop can automatically learn a mafia member with just the click of the mouse. ban cop.

I just feel like guns are in no way more "uncompetitive" than night start setups, bomb or oracle, or whatever

imo competitive setups should be more or less restricted to only competitive roles and setups while red hearts should be allowed to be used however, but since mods have a field day banning setups from redheart games left and right that can't be.

Btw whoever uses vent to claim or something is dumb. You're supposed to just say natural things that no one would even question or talk about later but seem scummy.

An "okay" at the very start of the day is perfect most of the times.

vent does not impede speech. the vent quote bug was removed, vent can self-quote/quote vents

there are ways to create diversity without something as uncompetitive as guns, im not against more 3rd party setups being comped if theyre not stupid roles.
