We are looking for suggestions for new roles that should be added to epicmafia, be creative and try to come up with ideas of roles that aren't similar with the ones we already have.
The best 2 ideas will be picked and lucid was thinking about rewarding those who came up with the ones that are going to be selected.
-Starts with a knife. -As long as they don't use the knife, each night Occultist can choose someone to sacrifice to the Great Old Ones. -When Occultist reaches 3 sacrifices one of the players in game other than Occultist turns into Cthulhu. -Occultist may use the knife during day to make a sacrifice. Stabbed person will die as a normal knife stab unless saved. -Cthulhu always will be summoned at 3 sacrifices, regardless of whether Occultist is alive at the time or not. -If Occultist sacrifices virgin, summoning happens immediately. -Wins only if Cthulhu wins.
-Throws a wild party once a game. -Everyone who is alive will be invited. -Everyone will be sharing a night meeting. -All night actions and such go on as per normal. -Masquerader may choose to poison one of the party attendees during party night. -Does not attend mafia meeting. -Sided with mafia.
Personally, I'm a big believer that the Cult should be developed into their own faction. Example:
Nyarlathotep: If visited, will convert visitors to cultists. Functions as a cult leader. If killed, all cultists will die. Immune to converts. Sided with the cult.
-During night, may choose to arm themselves. -When armed, lynching Suicide Bomber causes a random person who voted them to die alongside Suicide Bomber. A member of mafia cannot die this way. -Joins the mafia meeting before arming themselves, does not join the mafia meeting when armed. -Sided with mafia.
After being visited by a doctor/nurse/surgeon/quack, they are assigned as the patient's "doctor". The doctor cannot win if the patient dies, but their alignment can (for example village can win, but the doctor would still lose). Wins with the alignment of their doctor.
Visits one player each night. The target is announced to all players. Kills loudmouths and killers. Sided with the village.
Loch Ness Monster
Upon being investigated, will disable the visitor's ability to speak the next day, and lynches on Nessy will be unsuccessful. Wins if any 3rd party player wins.
Fangirl
Is given a randomly assigned town-sided player at the start of the game. The fangirl will automatically vote for them every day (creating 2 clears, but at a cost). Sided with the village.
Each night, learns 3 roles currently in the game (good for sandbox and multi-setups). Sided with the village.
Pyrotechnic
Visits a player each night, dousing them with gasoline that only lasts one day. May choose to throw a lit match once per game. Sided with the village.
Barbarian
Can only be killed at night or by lynch. People who vote the barbarian in a successful lynch are roleblocked. Sided with the village.
Gremlin
Appears to be town if it takes no actions at night, or mafia if it does. Two nights per game, the gremlin may target a player and kill them. Wins when the side it currently appears as wins, but cannot count for mafia total.
Visits a player each night. Town players are converted to blue. Mafia players are converted to nilla. 3rd party are converted to traitor. Can be killed by the insane cop.
Immune to night kills. Once per game, may visit another player to kill them. Killing an innocent player will turn the knight into a miller. Sided with the village.
(This was originally the same as a previous idea, so it's a bit altered)
The first time they're visited by a killing role, they do not die. Instead, the killer starts to bleed (like a bleeder, or someone stabbed by a knife). The butcher may no longer vote.
One visit to the urchin per night will give them an item (knife, vest or crystal). When the urchin dies, their items are randomly distributed amongst all players. Sided with the village.
Once per night, can convert someone to nilla mafia.
Mafia members are immune.
Wins with the mafia.
Sided with 3rd party.

Once per night, can visit someone.
If anyone visits the player Jammer visits, their messages get's jammed.
Visits still count as visits.
Is sided with the mafia.

Gambler
Once during the first night, they challenge a player to a card game.
The challenged is random, but it priorities mafia, and then 3rd party.
The rules of the card game is as follows.
During night one, each player choses person to be their card.
The value of the card equals to how many night visits their role naturally has.
During night two, they begin the game with the following rules.
Each player has a choice of Withdrawing or Challenge.
If the gambler challenges with a stronger card, the gamblee's role is revealed.
If the gambler plays a weaker card, they get a remote to a bomb that's strapped to themselves, which can be pressed at any time by the challengee.
If they tie, they both shake hands on a good game, revealing their roles to each other.
If anyone chooses to forfeit, they deny the other play winning benefit, but also reveal their role to them.

Can kill during the night.
During the first night/day, they get's assigned a target to kill.
Their target priorities town, and then 3rd party.
Their target also priorities the minority roles, not minority teams.
If they kill their target, they win, but they don't end the game.
If they kill someone who isn't their target, they lose and die.
If their target dies to someone else during the night, 47's new target becomes the player who killed their target.
If their target died during the day, their target becomes the role who voted in majority for their target. Which also priorities town, 3rd party, mafia.

Only the Devil is notified of their choice. If a mafia member accepts a deal, they are converted into a Traitor. The Devil wins if alive and a player that accepted a deal dies.
