We are looking for suggestions for new roles that should be added to epicmafia, be creative and try to come up with ideas of roles that aren't similar with the ones we already have.
The best 2 ideas will be picked and lucid was thinking about rewarding those who came up with the ones that are going to be selected.
has 2 potions: investigation potion and save potion. Can use each only once per game. Can't use both potions at the same time. Maybe even a kill or roleblock potion?

^ basically a role that suicides when a more important mafia gets lynched. He can help with protecting more useful roles, but since the mafia partner is confirmed anyways, it only buys one more day. It can also help to rebalance setups to make them more townsided if put in a "maf doesnt cc" setup
Junior [detective/doctor/cop/etc...] Like the normal role, but his action can only be done once per game. Sided with the village

This was originally supposed to be a mafia role, but I switched it to town because votes say people want town roles.
Cat Lady
Each night, a random player is visited by a cat. They have two options: Kill the cat, and let it go. If you kill the cat, you are roleblocked and the Cat Lady doesn't know who was visited. If you let it go, the Cat Lady learns your role.

Has the ability to make another player's vote count twice for one day. But the day after that person's vote is doubled, their vote is worth 0. They win by surviving, and if the loanshark is killed by someone aligned with their target on the day the vote is doubled, the target dies too.
Role: Lucid Drains receives plumbing licence if visited by third-party during the night - upon receiving plumbing licence, can pick a player once during a game to fix their drains sided with village, only wins with town if they fix a drain before game end
since we are on the topic of adding new roles, games, has anyone played Two Rooms and a Boom? I really like the concept, but i was wondering how i could fit that into EM as a game mode without having to build a new engine.
Drug Dealer - Visits one person every night and gives them a bag of drugs - The person who receives it is now addicted. If they are a visiting role, they automatically visit the drug dealer each night over their selection. - Wins if successfully gets 3 people addicted - Sided with the third party
create a town & a maf roll : town: college student maf : professor
the college student starts the game off with like 2 or 3 of some currency with the option to share it with one or two other players or transfer the money entirely between a cult-like group he/she selects
but if the professor get's all the money it's autowin for maf because town goes broke
A role kind of like Janitor but hides roles of all dead people, only to be revealed when lynched or shot. This role would not know the roles of any of the dead people either.
Hypocrite ~The hypocrite hates anyone who kills. ~The hypocrite only wins when the game ends and all murderers are dead. ~If the hypocrite receives a gun or knife and kills someone with it, he will not consider himself a murderer. ~To the hypocrite murderers are players who kill at night, curse, poison, shoot, stab, suicide bomb, burn, or pass out a bomb that detonates. ~If a player survives one of these actions, the hypocrite will not consider the attacker a murderer. ~Sided with the 3rd party.
Lunch lady that feeds someone every night. The food may make them sick and render any actions useless for the next evening and/or the lunch lady can control some of the chat of the ill character during the day. Kind of like a hooker ventriloquist but a good guy or 3rd party.
There should be a "press secretary" that roots out fake news during the day by clicking on one player a day for a chance to possibly see any night chat that they were in.
