Hey everyone, so it appears that I'm owner again. I'd like to preface this by saying that it's not with any malice or whatever that I'm coming back to this with, Merlot doesn't have time to own the lobby anymore (she's quite busy with work) and as such has been having difficulty picking a successor. Because of this, I'm here in this interim period to look after the lobby whilst we come to an agreement on who's gonna helm the ship from hereon out. I'm not entirely sure how long this period will last, it could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to over a month, but to the people who dislike me please rest assured that this is not permanent.
In the meantime, I'll be looking to streamline some of Sandbox's aspects and make a few quality of life tweaks for both the moderators and the regular users. If people have any recommendations of how to further improve Sandbox or who would make for a good successor, please don't hesitate to send me a private message.
Thank you for reading this message and thank you for being a patron of Sandbox Lobby.
absolutely, the population is dying off for all those reasons but those are things that are pretty difficult to control, i wasn't saying that banning people was killing the site's population off, i was merely pointing out that if the site's population is dwindling as it is, there's no sense in banning another person who otherwise wouldn't be a problem
also this isn't trying to start an argument I said I'm not gonna be a prickly pear I just want things to get better

I'd like to insert that the population is dying off because -aggressive community towards new users(see my be nice to noavis thread, and my fix the mentor system thread) -the bad users are the ones that chases off the good population including long-standing users, who leave, and the bad ones end up getting banned leaving no one -Lucid doesn't update the site
it's obvious some users will never change and will continue to break rules and abuse the violation system to continuously come back and do things time and again, but I /mostly/ agree when Edark said something along the lines of everyone will get another chance and can be unbanned sooner or later, even if I disagreed in the context that he gave it
for users that continue to break rules sure, but cub's point is that if they're not doing anything there's not reason to reban them and i agree. the site's population is dying off as it is
i thought asking would also be funny in that one instance
all of this is preplanned
