Hey everyone, so it appears that I'm owner again. I'd like to preface this by saying that it's not with any malice or whatever that I'm coming back to this with, Merlot doesn't have time to own the lobby anymore (she's quite busy with work) and as such has been having difficulty picking a successor. Because of this, I'm here in this interim period to look after the lobby whilst we come to an agreement on who's gonna helm the ship from hereon out. I'm not entirely sure how long this period will last, it could be anywhere from a couple of weeks to over a month, but to the people who dislike me please rest assured that this is not permanent.
In the meantime, I'll be looking to streamline some of Sandbox's aspects and make a few quality of life tweaks for both the moderators and the regular users. If people have any recommendations of how to further improve Sandbox or who would make for a good successor, please don't hesitate to send me a private message.

i honestly don't find this website fun at all i purely come here out of habit which is depressing but it's like masturbating, brief dopamine hit but a ton of other productive things i could be doing

well I really would've quit in 2013 because of how awful some people were towards me but I ended up kept coming back because of great people you know, even if they end up quitting after a while because the site gets to them
game of thrones grade shenanigans are awesome though, so mad props.

there's a way to get a solid fanbase either way with epic mafia, that's obvious because of how many users still use the chatbox or still play games after years
the point is, yeah, if the site is more polished more users will be willing to stay instead of thinking it's repetitive and the users who are semi-active may pull up EM more which is more ad revenue for lucid either way
epicmafia is fine itself, its the players that are literally trash.Adding trash like a modwatch and other stupid stuff is just a waste of resources which could be used to make better stuff instead of weakasspussybullshit for the overly sensitive people.
The demographic of users is transitioning to sfw and overly sensitive people.

more players in general just requires a little extra marketing on lucid's part
getting them to stay requires some actual fun and quite frankly if i was coming to this site for the first time i wouldn't stick around either
