Uhm, ok. What was the point of this comment exactly? I mean, I get it. You like his comment, you remembered something, and it's agreeable. You remembered something incredible! Mindblowing. And you want to express that. I've had those times as well... let's face it, it's a normal aspect of communication. But, your inane comment simply adds nothing of value to the conversation. What does telling him that you remember this nonsense quote do? Does it make you feel old to be part of the team? Does it make you happy to say that you're following his thought patterns? Is this really what you want out of Life? I think you can do better, son. That's why I'm going to use the parental approach, and give you a downvote. Not because I dislike you. But because I want to teach you this very valuable lesson. Contribute to conversation - to society, my friend. Don't be a follower, be a leader. Even if it means you get downteachered as I'm fairly certain I will (but I'm brave and wise enough to comprehend the ill and negligible value of internet points, so that's irrelevant).
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Vsauce. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Vsauce’s optimistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence, people who dislike Vsauce truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Vsauce's existential catchphrase "Hey Vsauce, Michael here!" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Michael Stevens’ genius unfolds itself on their television screens.
