This is a dedicated thread for users to bounce around and brainstorm on ideas for new roles, items, game mechanics or anything else to improve and build upon our beloved Mafia game.
Back in 2015 Sims made a thread asking if anyone had any ideas for roles since Lucid was looking to make some new ones (found here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/71173?page=1) That thread's dead now, but it's always good to try to bring the community together and come up with new stuff for the game.
Some of you might know my reputation for designing new roles and my passion for Mafia. EpicMafia is a pretty cool website and can always use some new stuff to spice up and remix the usual game formula, and I know a few of you have ideas of your own.

we need a game function that allows you to combine the closed role option with definitive role options. games could have a random set of roles but also a defined set of roles.
for example, maybe I want to make a closed role setup that chooses from a variety of thirds but always puts a wolf in the setup.
or maybe I want to build a setup where the same village set tackles a DIFFERENT mafia set each iteration.
i think it would expand out the game play options and would help sandbox and main.
Is there an exposed API we can use? I'm interested in making (possibly machine learning) ai and seeing if it can guess who the "Mafia" is based on words and timing.

make it so that you hijack the webcam of the player you have disguised as.
who cares about text colours and who cares about anything family-related. Fix the muting option in chatbox and add some roles. People who request dumb luxurious stuff are way too entitled
Lucid please work on graphical mode, it has alot of potential but as it is now it's rather lackluster. Also would it be possible to edit the current setup in a pre-game to change the roles or add more players?
