I am Golbolco. This is my dedicated spam thread where I post about things I consider important and speak to people in a public forum.

PERSONA DRAMATIS

I am a very super famous person on an online mafia simulator. My accolades are numerous, but I'm best known for my Golbultima setups, my news tabloid the Daily Drama Report (the concept for which I appropriated from Christopherzilla and deserve no credit for), and usurping Kenny as Sandbox owner in February of 2016.

I like to make roles and come up with new mechanics or items to potentially be implemented by Lucid into EpicMafia. I am also Lucid's official role mod.

Golbultima is a closed-roles, all-roles setup series I made in November of 2015 as an experiment. I do not and did not intend to troll people with it, I just wanted to see how it would play and if the roles had any kind of innate probability over other roles.

Daily Drama Report is a thread wherein I and anyone else who wants to join in can report on the latest happenings on the website or the "politics" therein. It also accepts posts of people being petty and causing problems for the sake of causing problems. Link: https://epicmafia.com/topic/76403

Golbamania is a mass expose/callout event named after Hulkamania, WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan's catchphrase whenever he challenged another wrestler. Ideally, Golbamania should never happen but sometimes people act inappropriate.

Star Wars is a space fantasy opera franchise created by George Lucas and currently owned by the Walt Disney Company. I liked Star Wars before it was cool™.

Culinary art is the art of preparing, cooking and presenting food. As an alum of Whataburger University, I consider it one of my greatest skills.

EpicMafia is an online party game simulator created by Phillip "Lucidrains" Wang. It's a good website.

Not a huge fan.

The goal of the town faction, as I see it, is to gather information on everyone and learn whose role is what. A town role that intentionally covers this up is a double edged sword that I think swings a little too far in the anti-town direction.

I assume that the purpose would be to cover up power roles, but a) once a power role is dead they won't come back unless it's a graveyard game (but a resurrectionist isn't going to resurrect a blue over a cop) and b) it lets people claim as power roles since people will assume they're still alive.

There's probably another angle to take with this.

If you ever see me in a game and I'm lurking for whatever reason, ping me. I have a tendency to just sort of drift off from the game because of everybody sheeping, and it's a bad habit.

If I can be completely honest: I like you, Herredy, but the way you choose to socialize and show your affection is sometimes off-putting and alienating. It makes it hard to interact with you. Then again, I don't think we've ever talked one-on-one, so maybe it would be different that way?
