Comp is so bad right now, its actually just funny. Theres nothing else to it. It's simply funny how bad it is. I think its time you all realize this. The sooner you accept that, the quicker we can fix it. Because games are just s'hit. They are played like reds and no one cares about throws/meta abuse/ect anymore and these are suppose to be competitive games. Mods are forgiving 'bad play' reports more now than ever. I saw a gt alt with 18-50 record. it takes actual skill to reach that level as a gt alt and not be banned by now. He srsly must have some top tier main outplaying mods with dumbtells
I'm writing to request we split the lobbies: Competitive/Casual.
We need a comp atmosphere to have a competition. Moderation of comp lobby should be harsher too. Trust me on this. Tables are so s'hit. Players have no clue what they're doing. Go with me here. I used to play competitive CPL cs1.6. Google 'vilden mage' and you'll find me. I know a casual game vs a competition. Merged lobbies ruined the comp aspect I used to rly enjoy
All you have to do now is ask lucid to do it. Keep asking until he does it.
Just do it.
Examples of a 'competitive' games in the current lobby
Froce and OohashiAkko overthrow him to lynch a town
They blame others in post game when they lose
There are so many terrible players like this that it isn't a competition it's like a r'etard magnet filled with trolls, gt'ers, and idiots. A lobby exclusive to comp players will intimidate players in such a way that they worry more about their own improvement and gameplay. When you have such a casual, s'hitty lobby, it facilitates players who arent playing to win or COMPETE as they should be
doesn't calling out all the people that don't play comp inherently prove that splitting the lobbies is a bad idea due to the limited number of competitive players?

Only about 25% of the players online in Main Lobby alone are playing competitive at this very second
I understand this is a quick statistic and I don't have any more samples but it's still a big teller imo

vilden you really only need to appeal to bumpers
if they decided to re-enable the competition in their lobby and allow public access, then the mods cant do anything about it
Its stupid to try the same thing over and over again and expect a different result when nothing actually has changed to suggest that people would be more interested in competitive play(if anything its the opposite).
Instead we should focus on actually getting players wanting to play serious competitve games.
Being more welcoming towards new players and not ostracizing them for making mistakes would be one way to start retaining fresh competitive players. I've been personally guilty of spam copy-pasting a line that I prepared in the graveyard for "that idiot clear" who lynched me despite me being "obvious town." This kind of behavior makes people afraid to play more with me because they'll be afraid of getting yelled at or belittled for their mistakes.

Right now there are about 50 people playing in main lobby, and they're split between Fancy Pants, other red hearts, private games, and 2 comp games
Gerry/anna upvoting edark without any experience whatsoever to judge or agree with him. You know I have to call you guys out on it

Comp will die/lose a lot of players if we split, so it aint happening
you're basing this on how the site was like 2 years ago and is total conjecture. it could also go the opposite way
the community as a whole is smaller now

Vilden at this point you have to be trolling the whole mod team because come on dude
I'm 100% serious, rofl. You act like splitting the lobby is some big deal when really its what comp players want. Do you even play anymore
No, I don't, but I'd like you to find "what comp players want" that isn't Shrub (the only one to sign your petition) in the last 7 pages
I don't know how you magically know what every comp player wants, especially if they're all new, and as you stated above "Being too new invalidates opinion"
