Okay so, I officially committed to a college today. I'll be going there in the fall. A majority of my knowledge about college comes from stuff that I've seen in TV shows, movies and have heard from random people. For those of you who are actually enrolled in a university right now, how is it like and what should I expect?
Me: PJ should study what interests him and not listen to the Internet strangers with crazy agendas who try to tell him exactly what his college experience will be like.

The major/minor thing is a little different in Germany. There's a lot more flexibility, so that's good. I've always wanted to see if I could do cinematography on the side, but recently I've been starting to take the idea very seriously and have really been considering making it my focus.
Majoring in something that will make you money doesn't work if you don't enjoy your major, potentially get bad grades because of how much you don't enjoy your major, and then hate your 9-to-5.

I heard it's good to go by "Major in something that you'll get good money in, minor in something you love" but idk how well that works

for someone who's life experience effectively amounts to "i'm a WASP from new england who got bankrolled through college" it's pretty shocking how much peter thinks he understands about the life experience of others, or life experience outside of any bubble really
Look at it this way.... someone has to major in this kind of stuff

i mean, it makes sense from any socially stunted person who finally puts it together, it's just that normally people do this when they're like 19 and think better of it by the time they're his age
