Okay so, I officially committed to a college today. I'll be going there in the fall. A majority of my knowledge about college comes from stuff that I've seen in TV shows, movies and have heard from random people. For those of you who are actually enrolled in a university right now, how is it like and what should I expect?
Yeah maybe if you don't know what you're doing but you physically can get sick if you drink beer first. I'm always the dumb one that drinks beer first and I end up puking the next day. Shots are dangerous if you do too many. I wouldn't do more than 12 shots tbh. Just drink what you're personally comfortable with.
I disagree start with beer first, jumping right into liquor can be really dangerous

If you drink enough maybe you'll think you're in Germany and it won't even seem illegal anymore
My RA was chill but it was the other wing's RA that caught us. She was mad. It was also the first night. Like literally we moved in 3 hours prior to her calling the cops. I had to do *drug* counseling and do community service in exchange for not getting an underage and getting kicked out from my major. That is reall stuff.

I don't plan on drinking very much. Truthfully, underage drinking makes me relatively uncomfortable and I loathe the thought of getting drunk. I do like the taste of beer a lot though tbh. When I was out of the country and was able to drink legally, I relished in that opportunity

Also don't put a shot on vodka in a red solo cup and waltze around your dorm hall. The RA's will catch you and they will call campus police and give you a breathalyzer. You will then cry and they make you go to campus counseling and you have to do community service on campus. They may or may not give you an underage.
Shippensburg was cool, but a lot of hicks and a lot of parties...not a lot of people finish strong at Ship tbh...Temple is a wonderful school and moderately priced as well. It's so convenient to downtown.

Liquor before beer, you're in the clear. Beer before liquor never been sicker.
Of course if you're not a baby who can't hold his drinks it doesn't actually matter
Lol is it not like that mostly? paying for cups at parties? My advice was solid. I wasnt saying do drugs but if offered use your best judgement. You dont need drugs to be a cool cat.
Shippensburg was a small school and still charged for parties.
