Since some users dislike the political discussions on the Sandbox lobby wall, I’ve decided to make a serious thread where people can discuss political issues/tangentially-related discourse.
Please keep name-calling to a minimum and remember that site rules still apply. While this “debate” is not technically “moderated,” I reserve the right to mute anyone who decides to make this thread all about Jamal or Neanderthals or whatever.
Please just try to use this space to contain conversations that are otherwise derailing in other places.

and golb is doing nothing wrong. they are making a thread asking that people share their views, and that is what the people have done.

If we lock this thread, political debate will inevitably spill out into places where people don’t want to see it. I specifically made this thread after seeing how users were reacting to some of LadyNut’s posts on the lobby wall.
If you don’t want to see the political discussions in this thread, there is nothing stopping you from just not looking at this thread. That’s the point of a containment thread. I could also insert the “I deliberately looked at a thread I did not like” meme here.
Jinga, I don’t know what your deal is but if you think I made this thread for attention you’re dead wrong. I’ve barely posted any of my own politics in this thread. If you think that I’ve done something wrong then go ahead and tell Shwartz or Dooze.

we didnt need to bring politics into epicmafia more than was already present, but good ol golbolco craves attention and has to stir up drama wherever the hell he can, and it doesnt matter who gets offended or makes themselves sound like an idiot or who actively antagonizes others as long as people flock to here.
this thread doesnt need to exist, and i strongly suggest someone locks it before it gets out further outta hand
But seriously, this thread aside, I love you people the same as I always have, it's just that I am feeling disappointed for all of these mean things that are said about me every day when I have said nothing mean back to them.
Now back to the thread: I have differing opinions than you. Get a life. Despite my lack of experience in a lot of things, I am as entitled to my opinions as much as the rest of you are.
