My favorite part of EM today is that everyone ends up being put where they let themselves. You'll find the people who frequent chatbox but don't ever play the games usually have super intense feelings about this website and its community as a whole, and usually a huge sense of entitlement about how EMs community should function, even though they don't actively participate in it.

The people who play games more often, at least in Sandbox Lobby's case, seem to take the website and community a lot less seriously. They're fun, they talk , they weed out people who can't laugh at themselves, and ostracize them until they end up in chatbox hell with the other angry anime avi white dudes. I rarely see people in games who are aware of the petty mindless drama like some of the fights in this thread.
