Just say you are scared that if you go agaisnt edark publically against every bad decision he makes, you will be demoded, and you are just scared to lose that position.
There is, because if you say it privatly, no one cares, but if you say it publically so every person to see it, they would think you are a decent moderator who supports the people rather than edark.
Is it that hard the moderators who do not agree with something to voice themselves agains the admins?
Why something has to happen, then after that you guys to say you were against it the whole time, but it passed already and you couldn't do anything ;-;

sure i 100% agree with you. epicmafia polls are absolutely unreliable but that's the decision the mods in charge of that (not me, for the record) decided on. they decided on it knowing that it could or would be rigged but it could be rigged for either side. i suggest if you really want this to be continued with to discuss this somewhere else in main lobby forums because sandbox isn't really the place.
i agree with this for the most part, but i think what we both define as things that should be acted upon are different. i do think leniency is better in general though, as super tight rules tend to turn a lot of people away, if they aren't banned for breaking the super tight rules to begin with.

I think it would have been best if you guys chose 10 random NEW users who have played competitive at least once and ask them, instead of people who use 30 alts to upvote their favourite answer.
And this is why the community is so bad. We are past the point where you guys have to be lenient to everyone.
If someone starts harrasing others and is a mod, he should be removed. Not warned really nicely to stop, and then he to continue trolling on the forums instead (Talking about Whitepimp here.)
If an user is being harrased, you don't go ignoring it, because you have to be lenient about it.
If there is something wrong you don't have to ignore it because it will cause unnecesary drama.

I feel that either things should have either been kept to a certain standard from the start or just kept how it currently is. I disagree with Edark's adminship completely but there's no harm in fun adminship, as long as moderation is efficient, however xxerox the userbase is now established in very to little no moderation on them, certainly in sandbox lobby, aside from harassment usually from already banned users. Since there's this mentality forcing things to be super serious will only lose more users who have stuck to the loosely moderated site
but at the same time I must admit there IS mistreatment towards xxerox, I know it's banter for mods but anything he says is almost always instantly disregarded on the grounds of him being xxerox, making sense or not
the nature of this conversation was mostly talking in circles but if we can bring this back to something with more focus that would be great
i kinda understand where xxerox is coming from but we're at a fundamental disagreement, i don't think mods should be always stern, serious paragons of virtue. i would much rather have more personal, friendly mods who can make jokes and have fun with the community but still be the serious, stern fellows that xxerox wants, but only when the situation calls for it.
