Understanding Women

deletedalmost 8 years

Hypothetically, if you were texting a girl you love and she was being down on herself, so you try to flatter her and shower her with compliments, and then she responds with "No, I'm not any of those things, you need to stop"

What, hypothetically, the f.uck just happened?

"Understanding Women", I wonder if there would be a "understanding Men" anytime soon. And not just on this website, anywhere.

She's either A. Lying and just trying to be humble so it doesn't look like she has an ego or B. She's insecure for whatever reason

You're a moron

Girls are complicated. Don't try to understand b/c we can't even understand ourselves. Sometimes we just want someone to listen when we're being hard on ourselves but, on the flip side, we want to hear that we're not those things. IDK. Buy her chocolate.

Right now I feel more like buying her a break-up dinner and banging some tbh

If you really do love her just buy her chocolate or flowers and go jerk off. I heard that's what marriage is like anyway.

If you're egotistical enough a silver trophy can solve the issue of blue balls

Depending on how long you've known her will determine how long you need to put up with a depressed Sally, there's a formula to calculate time spent, be time spent dealing with bs which also accounts for how good she is at sobbing knob.

Can send to u if u need

you're not enough of a good person to sit by and watch others beat themselves up and retaliate against you too when you try to make her feel better

no one is

it happens all the time with women. guys don't do this, i haven't heard of a gay guy doing it either but i wouldn't know :)

don't do what, specifically? Take out negative emotions on others? Take loved ones for granted? Or specifically lash out at someone for nothing?

nothing u say will make her feel better

It's one of those things where in the moment she'll act like an u appreciative c*nt but afterwards when you've stuck around she'll appreciate u a lot more

i think the only problem here is you aren't used to female emotions. you're acting like every guy does when they're in highschool and experience this for the first time.. BUT you get used to it

Hypothetically I do not think I am a good enough person to put up with this

it's purely a suggestion from what information's been relayed. I'm not you

and if I was I'd go play on the internet instead of dealing with problems like that but I'm selfish

Real time

Just say that you really dislike self deprecation and you're just trying to cheer up her day because you feel that because she came to you with her unhappiness you had to counter with some nice things because you appreciate and value your friendship with her and don't want to see it go to waste because you couldn't be there when she was beating herself up.

That'd be speaking from the heart or something and would probably be ridiculous

Hypothetically it is not a friendship.

sonseray why does it sound like you're just now discovering women's emotions

I dunno, I've never seen a women act like they do in this hypothetical scenario.

really? because hypothetically I feel like her emotions aren't all that uncommon. I don't think it's just women either, but I could be wrong. It's part of human nature to sometimes take things out on people who don't deserve it, I think. And hypothetically the only person who knows exactly what's going through her mind is this hypothetical woman herself, who hypothetically must be able to eventually talk it out with you, but not right now necessarily

Hypothetically doesn't it make more sense to be like: "Hey, thanks for being there for me even if you don't always say the right things" instead of being like "You need to stop trying." ?

it does, but this is a female in her emotions...

I've never seen a guy act anything like this. I can't even understand this, that's how far removed from my thought process it is.

hypothetically.
