Hypothetically, if you were texting a girl you love and she was being down on herself, so you try to flatter her and shower her with compliments, and then she responds with "No, I'm not any of those things, you need to stop"
Or maybe she's just in a bad mood and wants to be left the fk alone

it is nonsense, but it happens all the time with white girls or girls that group up in a white environment. this cant be the first time you've encountered it
"We have not seen great things done in our time except by those who have been considered mean; the rest have failedā¦ A prince, thereforeā¦ ought to hold of little account a reputation for being mean, for it is one of those vices which will enable him to govern."
You need to temper your compliments lest they seem facetious.

"you try to flatter her and shower her with compliments"
Sounds like you went totally fking overboard and came off desperate.
Well hypothetically this wouldn't be some girl I'm trying to pick up, this would hypothetically be someone I've been with for a few months, and who usually responds well to that.

it's not that she didn't like it, girls do that sh1t all the time (and frankly its annoying) because they want to hear you keep saying it.
Hypothetically I would have said "Okay, I will stop."
And hypothetically she would have answered "Thank you."
Hypothetically I'd be confused and angry and upset.
the "thank you" wasn't sincere. she wanted you to keep going, but she doesn't want to come out and say it, but since she told you to stop (in an attempt to passively aggressively get you to keep going), she had to say "thank you" instead of "no, keep going"
handling females is a completely different world, dude. their brains are wired differently
Well hypothetically, that would be nonsense, and I would never be able to understand that so she'd have to know she is making me angry by doing that, hypothetically.

but if you're sure she is one hundred percent angry without any other intentions at the compliments, and is down on herself, the girl is in a bad state of mind that will probably linger for awhile. if you have the patience, help her through it, if not, look elsewhere for a life partner

Hypothetically, I like to think I'm too good to ask epicmafia.com for relationship advice, so any instance in which I would be doing that would have to be hypothetical

Hypothetically, she would seem genuinely angry at having been complimented.

She wants you to be violent with her. Rain blows down on her.
Hypothetically, I'm not sure you get laid a whole lot.
Only when he plies me with alcohol

i've found that sometimes its because they are insecure and they don't know if you mean what you say and they deny it to make sure you're saying it from the heart, or they just love compliments eventhough they aren't insecure. it could be either or.
