Yes, because they go hand in hand. He knowingly modded a pedophile without addressing the community, thus looking as though he was excusing their actions.

There's a strong chance he's telling the truth and took me calling Ethereal a pedophile as a joke but considering the context (Direct question about why I disliked Petri+Who on earth accuses someone of being a pedophile as a joke) that was a really puzzling conclusion.

Then he should have checked. Like he should have done in the first place. It's not your fault Cody messed up.

I believe that the motivations that she had then and the motivations that she has now are dramatically different and that there is no chance that, put in the same situations, she would do it again. Perhaps I am too willing to give people chances, but when someone shows me that no facet of her behavior points to a proclivity for harassing, provoking, or antagonizing other EM users, the logical conclusion for me is that she is not a threat.

I understand that I cannot possibly have the same perspective as the people who have had to deal with what she has done in the past. I know that she broke some bridges that will take a long time to repair, and some that she can probably never repair. But I don't think that she should be denied a chance at attempting to do so.

I don't want this to come off as a threat, it's certainly not my intention. This has happened so much in the past that to have one of your mod team use the excuse of it being "trolling" is laughable. I have no issues with how Petri identifies or acts, but there has never been an apology for such actions or even remote proof of redemption.

I'm not calling her a paedophile, or that she's impossible to change, but I am saying that this is far too irrational without any prior research. I don't want to see anyone else burnt by someone who can't apologize for their wrongdoings.

Yea like im not that much against modding petri, its judt the general lack of awareness of modding someone like that, petri was worse than abc is now back in the day and arcbell threatens the site when he doesnt get his way and hacks accpunts on a regular basis

Cody why do you even want to take that risk, are you willing to take all responsibility for whatever ethereal may do if you are wrong about their intentions?

Because if you are kudo to you, i wouldn't want that blood on my hands. same goes for arcbell tbh let's not lose sight of the fact that arcbell was also an awful choice.

He modded a pedophile without wondering how minors on this site would respond. He modded one knowingly, DESPITE the protests of others. If someone says it's promoting, they aren't entirely wrong.

If he had brought this up, then there'd be no doubt he wasn't in support of their old actions.
