Hi. Recently, I've felt that our current rules do not fit the current meta and playerbase, and are outdated in many aspects. I've been thinking about rewriting them in full, but I figured that a more open approach would allow for everyone to be more content if such a thing happened. I want to use this thread to talk about discrepancies in the system and how to appropriately fix or address them. I believe that the rules are not accessible enough based on website design alone and how they are handled. This leads to a lot of complaints that could be thinned down if people came together and defined the rules in such a way that can make everyone (mostly) happy. I want to use this thread as a placeholder and for people to be critical as much as they please with aspects of the report system also, and how we as a team could possibly improve it or get lucid to notice that it is in need of an overhaul. It's a very daunting task, but I want to believe that the people who spend their time in the complaints section, constantly riding on mods or problems with the site, finally will put their money with their mouth is.
The goal of this thread is to hopefully allow new and old users thoroughly understand the rules more clearly so the amount of reports diminishes and people have a more enjoyable experience.
Let's see. Connor snuck into me chatting with survivor lobby one time. Shortly after he quit. Anthony chatted on Skype a bit. We played games and talked about it afterwards. Otherwise, i don't know what others did. I guess ark was okay.
2 more reports since then, same bs. Good job moderating this site buddy.

yeah, but how many other users can say that. atm the program is completely irrelevant to the community. There's no outreach to actual new members because on one speaks about the mentor program & new players don't know to ask about it.
the mentor program actually worked out well for me. hedger was a great mentor and i'm not nearly as terrible as i was when i signed up. also it was a nice way to be introduced to the community that exists on the site & especially on the forums.

the moderator team/admin team could put some effort into it aswell, half of the mentor team is just friends / a joke pairing which ironically that's what the mentor program is atm - a joke.
You have Calvin mentoring an ex-admin and some other non new players bronto mentoring sweeper and some other kid i'm not gonna go through the whole list but basically the only legitimate mentor with mentees is itg who doesn't play anymore and the DonkeyKong lobby kids or whatever they're called who haven't logged in in over a year. wipe the whole thing and start fresh.
