can we at least remake it again to so that maybe the point payout will be better this time?

modleaks: my argument for allowing A&D to be comp'd

Why is Justin Bieber so popular? They should ban him from the radio so all the kids can listen to GOOD music like Led Zeppelin.

Payouts are only relevant on outright pointfarms. Only townsided setups are pointfarms. Scumsided setups literally cannot be pointfarmed, unless they're reversed (in which case, the inverse rules apply).
i'm not against A&D as a setup by itself, i don't have bad experiences with A&D. i am against overly unbalanced setups being overly popular, because it is a formula luck-based (more luck-based than usual) ruined rounds, which i'm sure has been proven in the past
@ mist- his win loss ratio was better and he still lost, because he was winning on a setup that was too easy to win and that is they the point payout was such.
BRONTO just admitted. He lost a trophy because someone else ran on A&D and won 71 points. So bronto, who couldnt win as town on A&D played some other noob setup and lost like a baby.
Bronto: " bwaaaa bwaaa bwaaaaa, i want third place, he ran on A&D, it gives more payout because it is harder to win, it is not fair. I couldnt win one extra game on the easier setup because it is easier to win and i am very bad. bwwaaa bwaaa
Third place: Ok, here, have my trophy. stop crying. Or just become mod, because you are bad at this game.
he literally admitted it all the time

it's not that he couldn't win. he had better win/loss ratios, he just got unlucky with the RNG giving him scumflips so he didn't get the high payouts. at least i'm pretty sure that's what he was saying...

all of riot's posts ITT are terrible
well from what i've briefly skimmed, i agree with most of his posts dude. maybe shoot some hoops to calm down.
riotkiller is arguing that an unbalanced setup dominating the competition is OK when it's objectively wrong
every setup is unbalanced depending on how you define it my dude. 50-50 setups are overrated anyway and end up being like cm.

That isn't objective. That's subjective. You seem to be getting your definitions confused.

If they want to lose games, why do the mods have to stop them, Connor??
Edit: Frankly I was against Minesweeper being blacklisted as well, Dan. But being such a troll setup, it's too much effort to argue over.
we just have too different of viewpoints here to understand each other, I guess.
Either way my whole thing is that mods should attempt to protect the competition and not allow people to comp bad setups. if the competition has no meaning, then no one will care. the meaning comes from the good setups and the seriousness with which people take them.
Bad setups are defined subjectively, not objectively. Those decisions are arbitrary. And we should not be giving the mods more room to make arbitrary decisions.
i'd rather let the mods set rules for what's allowed rather than let it be a free-for-all with reactive intervention. That's always a messier situation.
the roles were handed out at the game was basically decided when all other luck is factored in the start of games when the reason this is an issue because it detracts from deciding who wins. if the reason this is an issue because you need a large amount of skill aspect of competition - from deciding who wins. if the reason mods should stop overly unbalanced setups from being played is factored in the difficulty, more substantial amount of skill aspect of games when the reason mods should stop overly unbalanced setups from deciding who wins. if the start of games when the game because they were handed out at the game was basically decided when all other luck is factored in the reason this is an issue because it detracts from deciding who wins. if the game was basically decided when the game because you need a large amount of games when the start of games when all other luck is an issue because you need a large amount of skill aspect of games when all other luck is factored in the reason mods should stop overly unbalanced setups from being played is an issue because it detracts from deciding who wins. if the start of competition - from being played is an issue because it detracts from being played is factored in the game was basically decided when the reason this is factored in the reason this the reason this is factored in the roles were handed
Connor is mad for the same reason. He had a bad experience with the setup. So he and bronto (when they were both mad), had a late night vote with 3 other mods (one cheater and one who got demodded like anything and one mod who was bronto's friend) and decided to ban it. Arcbell was admin and was not happy with this.
who was the mod that was revealed as a cheater? i remember that there were like 6-7 mods including myself who all agreed it should've been blacklisted from comp.
