Rounds with certain restrictions on what can be comped are an idea I like in general and think can be fun to try, not sure how others feel about it. I believe it has been tried in the past.

It'd be great if they applied that majority mindset outside of their mod chat. Kino wouldn't be modded.

There's a problem in the mod team right now that people are gonna get mad at me about and it's that there is far too much of a majority over minority opinion issue where people will be outcasted or ignored for not being in sync with others, when it shouldn't be like that at all.
I'm a small minority who knows it's unlikely for it to happen so I just try and not let it bother me, even when it does.

Why don't you disable all the known setups from competitive? Like a round where you can't have popular setups in it.

You yourself posted that you thought Kino should be removed when you weren't a mod, Retti. Why can you not bring this up in the mod chat yourself? I permitted arguments between mods as long as they weren't on the public site, and then I would make a decision. Now it's just a case of hold hands and all be friends. Exmods should not be in that skype chat. It is not a friendship chat.
It's only featured because manhunt was the second most played setup from 2 rounds ago, but I think this system can work well with allowing new players to play competitive setups in red hearts. Another way we can all help with this is for us experienced players to individually make red heart tables on competitive setups for new players to join and play with them.

Is this in reference to Skillz? I don't see Jasper demodding oliver over an IC violation.
you should have strategies/guides for the featured setups edit: we can move this discussion to another thread if u want under the general umbrella of red heart games

When nobody on the site likes certain moderators for valid reasons, there are issues that need addressing. And they aren't being addressed.

You need to be featuring setups that encourage scumhunting and critical thinking. For instance, B2NS, BV, c-14, Jan 2.0 .
I want to make this point very clear. I've played a lot of "fun is bad" these past few days. They think that nakeds are clear, and are incapable of realizing that they are not. Why would you ever feature that? The setups that are featured need to be entirely free of confusing mechanics, and scumhunt oriented so that new players can actually apply the skills they learn in gold heart games.

Again, go to Jasper about it.

I can't do anything about it beyond asking oliver to possibly self-OT or involving Jasper about the matter.
OLIVER IS BAD AND SHOULD BE REMOVED

Blacklisting fancy pants accomplishes nothing. The fancy pants community wants to play mafia without having to think, and it's better that they stay in fancy pants. Otherwise, we'll have serious setups full of people clicking without reading like they do in fancy pants
Actually, one of the complaints that was repeated in the results was that new players feel like they can't join competitive games, because no one plays competitive setups in red hearts. The solution we came up with is to have the 2 featured setups for each round be the top two played setups from 3 rounds ago. That way new players can play red heart games on competitive setups that will also be eligible to be comped the round after.
