i dont think moderating is broken at the core, i just think the rapid shift in admins (im pretty certain it went from riot -> ark -> arcbell -> bronto -> vancy -> jasprar just this year) has led to a lack of cohesion in the moderation team and its not going to be fixed without a whole new team chosen by a new admin.

I think that the urge to cheat at a psychology game for a pixel trophy is indicative of a bad moderator of said psychology game.

i think this site is full of internet teenagers that are possible of both doing stupid things that internet teenagers would think are good ideas, and also growing up during their time on this site

it's funny, because you repeatedly insist that moderating on this site is inherently broken at its core, yet your response to the idea of a complete overhaul of the mod system is "but that's not how things are"

from a user perspective, i don't care who is a moderator if i can trust them. i don't feel like i can trust cheaters or creeps.

from a mod perspective, i don't want my other mods to be a bunch of losers that stink up the mod chat and make it impossible to get anything done

yeah, the secret mods would work better in a larger community. EM is too small for it because it's like the internet version of Cheers, only instead of a bar its an online forum.
