I couldn't find a similar topic so let's do it in here let's dive STRAIGHT IN

only make original roles, nothing like 'batman'

Hijacker - Non-Meeting Mafia role that doesn't do anything. Upon dying, possesses a random town player. This means though his body is in the graveyard, he lives on through the town character, and can even speak through that persons mouth as if he he were venting him. Because of this, it will quickly become obvious who the hijacker possessed. The hijacked person counts as a live mafia player, so the town will have to decide whether it's worth lynching him or not. Maybe he is a detective and would still be worth keeping alive, or a sanity confirmed cop, etc. Maybe shrinks or visiting a priest will cure the possessed person and properly kill the hijacker.

Bo oby Trapper - Mafia role that can lay down a trap during the day once per game. Upon laying the trap, a system message will read 'Somebody laid a trap!' so it's anonymous. After this system message, the very next person to speak that day blows up, and then the trap is gone. For the rest of the day, nobody will be allowed to speak if they don't want to die, but they will be able to continue speaking to each other in whispers. People wearing vests can activate the trap and lose their vest.

Original role I just made up now

War Demon
War demon recruits 2 players n1, these players become minions
Other players stay on good side
Shares a night meet with its minions
War demon cannot kill.
Can convert any role, including the Samurai, the Shrink and the Granny
Wins if he and his minions outnumber the rest of the village
Sided with the mafia.

Wins alone if no one attempts to kill them before end of game.
Wins with town if alive at end of game but someone has attempted to kill them.
Will shout out like a loudmouth the name of one person that attempted, successful or not, to kill them, only the first attempt it outed, after this they are basically a blue.


I was thinking about this and I really like it (probably more for sandbox games than ranked)

But unless I am missing something it can't be made with the role creator.

Dr Jekyll

Each new full day, swaps between Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Dr Jekyll saves one person each night
Mr Hyde kills someone each night
Dr Jekyll can joint with town
Mr Hyde can joint with mafia
Sided with the third party
(swaps roles like politician, as in, night one and day one will be DJ, night two and day two will be MH and so on)


I really like this one too, would have to start on random so town can't track its days.

Moustache

- Every night, visits a player to convince them to grow a moustache
- If the player is convinced:
- 50% chance the player will be immune from lynches for the rest of the game
- 50% chance the player will be silenced for the rest of the game
-Role wins if he successfully convinces 2 people to grow a moustache
- Sided with the third party

I think that's a cool idea jimpl, the player would actually be saving someone one night and then killing him the next in the hopes of winning the next day, it really would be like transforming between good and evil

IMO it should be a role where if there are two in the game, they're twins, if there is three in the game, it's Triplets, four = Quadruplets, and so on.

Jester

-Every night, visits a house to entertain the occupant anD shares a meeting with that player
-If he visits a killing role, that player has the option to kill the jester or let him live.
-Dies if the player he visits is visited by any killing role
-Wins if survives
-Receives less points from a mafia win, whilst giving the mafia more points.
-Receives more points from a town win, whilst giving the town less points
-Sided with third

This almost seems like it should be third party :x
And maybe one twin should be the role 'twin' and they choose the other twin n1. Other twin would be converted (Couldn't keep roles, imagine if was santa/blacksmith, having a twin would mean being able to vest yourself every night).

Foreshadower

- Once per game, can control a randomly selected night action on the opposing team/s.
- Will not know the original player with this night action but can see the meeting they are controlling
- If in a meeting with multiple people, all players will be seen as anonymous to the Foreshadower. To the other players, the Foreshadower will be seen as the original player they are foreshadowing.
- The person being foreshadowed will not see their meeting at night.
- The foreshadow meeting will take place in the day like Paralyzer.
- Will not attend mafia meeting when foreshadowing.

There should be some ways to communicate, just not in words as it is now, the afflicted should be able to click a button that makes their gibberish bold. Communicating would then be based on bold/not and short/long. So like a person that is seized with fear, there would be short quiet bursts, short loud bursts, long quiet rants and long loud rants. It would be up to those not afflicted to come up with a system.

Which lends to another role, lets say Psychiatrist, they can visit the afflicted and cure them of speaking gibberish, but not restore their ability to vote (lol tree just got unclear). The afflicted becomes their patient. Wins if their patients are 50%+ of players. -If target revisits chulu, chulu is afflicted. If spook visits target on the same night, spook is afflicted.

Patients can still be cured fully by cult.

Spook

Mafia-sided

Once per game can visit a player and drive them completely insane.
That player can only speak gibberish for the rest of the game, similar to cthulhu.
That player's will could also be corrupted.

Town sided

She's on the phone gossiping, and you have terrible dial up, so you don't receive any system messages that your role may receive. But because she's also a terrible gossip, everyone else will receive that message instead.

Chicken

Every day the chicken randomly gives someone an egg.
That person does not receive a system message.
If that person is not visited during the night than the egg hatches and the person becomes a chicken.
If the person is visited then the egg breaks.
Chickens win when they outnumber humans.
Chickens do not share a meeting.
All chickens lay eggs, not just the original chicken.
Optional : Chickens cannot shoot guns because they are too chicken.

Knife Smith- Town

-Gives out a Knife once per night.
-Knives are used to stab another player and Do Not Reveal.

- " A knife is stabbed into ______'s side!"

-Stabbing causes bleeding and player will die by next day like a bleeder unless saved.

- A second stabbing kills an injured player but Reveals.
"______ reveals a knife and stabs _______!"


-Knives are not effective against vests, grannies, gramps nor angel protection nor monk protection .
