I couldn't find a similar topic so let's do it in here let's dive STRAIGHT IN

only make original roles, nothing like 'batman'

Hijacker - Non-Meeting Mafia role that doesn't do anything. Upon dying, possesses a random town player. This means though his body is in the graveyard, he lives on through the town character, and can even speak through that persons mouth as if he he were venting him. Because of this, it will quickly become obvious who the hijacker possessed. The hijacked person counts as a live mafia player, so the town will have to decide whether it's worth lynching him or not. Maybe he is a detective and would still be worth keeping alive, or a sanity confirmed cop, etc. Maybe shrinks or visiting a priest will cure the possessed person and properly kill the hijacker.

Bo oby Trapper - Mafia role that can lay down a trap during the day once per game. Upon laying the trap, a system message will read 'Somebody laid a trap!' so it's anonymous. After this system message, the very next person to speak that day blows up, and then the trap is gone. For the rest of the day, nobody will be allowed to speak if they don't want to die, but they will be able to continue speaking to each other in whispers. People wearing vests can activate the trap and lose their vest.

Balanced voodoo
- Sided with mafia, attend meeting
- Visit two more people each night
- Can only choose non-mafia in Voodoo meeting
- Can choose anyone, including self, in Based meeting
- At the end of the following day, if the Voodoo target speak less than the Based target, the Voodoo target is killed. Death message is the same as normal voodoo

Christmas Tree
-Sided with town
-Can choose to become a tree during the night once per game
-Once a tree, can't be killed or lynched
-Anyone who visits the christmas tree receives a random item
--50% Coal, 50% one of: Gun, Vest, Crystal, Bread
---Coal makes the holder appear guilty to cops and burn when an arsonist throws a match

Not really a role but I had an idea for an item thats a taser. It doesn't kill the target but it prevents them from talking or voting for the rest of the day. There could be a role that starts with one or a role that gives them out.

Empath
-Sided with town
-Each night will learn the name of someone who killed somebody that night.
--Alternatively, will have a dream including the killer in it
-Has a cumulative 20% chance per person that died the previous night of dying at the start of the day. (1 death-20% 2 deaths-40%, and so on.)
-When killed directly somebody else will receive a dream about three people, one of which is the empath's killer.

Ghost:
3rd Party. Appears as Villager to investigative roles and upon death. One time only, after it dies, at night, can visit one person and choose one other. The visited person is converted to lyncher and irritated by the other person that the Ghost Chooses. If the lyncher target dies, the lyncher dies. If the converted Lyncher dies, sux2B the Ghost. If the Lyncher Target is Lynched, the Ghost and Lyncher win.
Is converted to villager if visited by shrink.

Necromancer (third party): Selects a target every night. If that target would die that night, the target is instead instantly turned into a zombie. Necromancer attends zombie meetings and may talk, but may not vote. Zombies can choose to bite the necromancer. Necromancer wins if alive during zombie win.

Dog (Town-sided): Every night, barks at a random player. Everyone will know who visited that player the next day.

Briber (Third Party): Every night, chooses a player to bribe. That player will be alerted that they have been bribed and find out the briber's identity. Wins if alive and half of all players have been bribed. All players who have been bribed win alongside briber, regardless of role.

Sandbox role: Vengeful treestump: Third party. Overwhelm town. Appears to self as tree; Kills all visitors.

Switcher, Town sided, Once per game can select up to 3person and turn town into mafia and vice versa. 3rd parties will be changed to another 3rd party role.

-Has a 50% chance of killing the person who killed it
-Has a 100% chance of killing if devoured
-Self-visits

HappyFrog - 3rd party
HappyFrog wins if town wins. HappyFrog remains HappyFrog as long as he is visited every night (even if that visit kills him).
If HappyFrog is not visited during the night, he becomes SadFrog and receives a gun.
SadFrog wins if one of last two standing.
SadFrog will become HappyFrog again if visited during the night.

Keep the frog happy.

-Sided with town.
-Attends the mafia night meeting.
-Mafia meeting will be anonymous while there is an undercover cop in the game.
-May attempt to investigate someone each night, but there is a 50% chance that they will reveal themselves to the mafia instead.

Emir (third party)

-Issues a fatwa against one of two parties every night (town/mafia), marking every member of that party kuffar until next night (the other party are the brothers).

-If a kuffar dies from a brother's suicidal action, Emir wins.

-Terrorist (when brother) cannot target Emir.

-Emir is always brother.

-If there's a prophet in the game, they attend the same night meeting (where the only option is to end meeting, but still can talk), and also when one of them wins, the other does as well.

Examples could include: Terrorist brother rushing a kuffar, Kuffar dayshooting brother bomb with gun, kuffar night-killing brother bomb, self-voting martyric brother hunter shooting a kuffar.

I'm looking forward to being put into so many government lists after I post this.
