Unfortunately, Google decided to shut down the Adsense anyhow. I've asked for an appeal, but if they do not reply by the end of the month, I will be shutting down the site. Thanks for the good times, but I suppose it's time for me to move on.

I don't think you should shut down this website at all, I, along with many people are definitely willing to give in a portion of money to make this site financially stable without Google. I understand that it hasn't been in your best interest to keep this site stable as you have better things to do, but we all would really appreciate it!
We shouldn't need to donate for an extra 4 days unless the income is needed. It's the reason I'm saying to please, just be patient, wait for more information.
No one is asking for donations to start pouring in right now. Lucid needs to set up a tracker with an end amount for us somewhere in the lobbies, and then we can help sustain it for however long.

I'm gonna send a fiery email to the CEO of Google Inc.
Don't panic yet. We have 4 days to figure out a solution. If it comes to where lucid has to shut down the site, we'll say our goodbyes then. Try and stay positive.
This. If worst comes to worst, go out with a bang, please don't ruin it by putting a life support purchase scheme.
The clear thing to do is to wait, If you want to donate, that's fine, just be aware that it might not save the site. The site needs constant adflow, not a buyout clause to keep it in a dead state for 6-12 months.
Well what most people here are looking for is a clear goal. How much money do we need to keep the site up for another month or two?
We don't know, which is why I think it's too early for a donation rush before we can clarify the situation. A clear goal is not a purchase of the site.
Well, I wouldn't expect YOU to know, but it seems like something Lucid would probably know. If he'll tell us, then we can raise the money.

We just want it to be up until Google decision is made for the least. 4 days isn't enough for that. So donations for a month would atleast give the site the chance it still has.

There's no financial sense in shutting down a site when people will buy it for thousands of dollars.
