So it's not about the oppression? You said the definition relies on oppression. If straight people were being oppressed in a country, how would they NOT fall under LGBT according to the logic of yours I stated above?


You're confusing yourself with the letters as indivual sexualities and the movement as a whole. The LGBT movement is about sexualities being oppressed.

It comes down to if you're lesbian, gay, bi, or trans(once again, lumping any other gender than cis under this). If you're not those, you're not LGBT.
