So there's been a lot of shooting recently and the president isnt doing about it.
Australia had its worst mass shooting in 1996 on the 28th of April. 12 days later australia announced a bipartisan deal on sweeping gun control measures. The government brought back and destroyed over a million guns. We (australia) haven't had a mass shooting since.
Why is Trump not doing anything. Children are dying. People aren't living their full lives. If comforting those who have been through trauma and lost loved ones is all they can do b*llfucking sh*t. If saying it will be okay to those victims then saying that to gun owners should be fine too.
Sorry im just annoyed with how this has all been going down.
Now I’ll make this final post for like a month or something lol
Imagine after 9/11 the government went “f*ck the TSSA, there’s NOTHING we can do to stop these crazy terrorists, our amendment allows people to go through airports without proper screening... terrorists hijakin a plane wasn’t really s problem till after 2001”
Or when s bunch of stupid teenagers first strted drinking and driving / texting and driving the government went “There’s absolutely nothing we can do about people textibg or drinking behind the wheel... texting and driving wasn’t really a problem till after the iPhone was released”
Idk, but at least we have freespeech, and liberty.
love to be at liberty to be shot at in a school
He could always end your liberty by running you over instead.
Remember that guy, in his car, who ran over 50 people and injured over 100?
Yes i believed it happened in Nice.
There is other underlying issues, making these guns harder to get is just going to make them find other methods. School shootings wasnt really problem till after the 80s.
Since we are asking questions , why is America, over the last 25 years the only country with more mass shootings than every other developed nation put together, with an exponent of about 10

Idk, but at least we have freespeech, and liberty. I mean you could compare us to Iraq, where women walk around with AK-47s on their backs.
Or Dominican Republic where people walk around with saww-ed off shotguns in broad day light.
Or North Korea where your goverment is your best friend because they protect you from owning any dangerous guns.
Why doesn't places with free-er guns laws have more mass shootings?
Why does Britian have a higher rate of terrorist attacks then the US? They banned all guns, even on police officers pretty much.
i thinking disarming the people while militarizing the american police is gonna work out great, after all cops r true heros and not all racist monsters!
The argument for guns to use against tyrannical governments is a stupid one. If the government wants to make its citizens slaves all they are gonna do is take away your resources - electricity, gas, the internet etc...
So, get off that stupid a$$ conspiracy theory. If it ever calls for it you and your gun will be trapped in your basement living an episode of the walking dead
Yes this strategy worked so well in insurgencies in the middle east and other various countries. The only thing you need to cause government problems is a pick up truck, a rifle and some improv explosives. Especially in the case of America, the government needs cell towers and other infrastructure a lot more than any citizen would in your scenario.
The government can't and won't use anything like tanks or jets to glass their own infrastructure and people. They'd have control over a big pile of nothing. Even if they did that's just going to cause mass desertion and intervention from foreign agents.
Anyway this whole debate about assault rifles is dumb. Hardly any homicides are actually done by them. It wasn't till the late 80's that this became a more frequent thing. I would say a better investigation on the negative effects of anti depressants and other pharmaceutical antics is a lot bigger issue. 90% of the shooter were on some form of antidepressants.
As for the OP, australia style won't even work. The gun culture is entirely different and there's too many in circulation to collect and keep track of. Banning handguns would curb a lot more gun deaths than banning assault rifles. These deaths would just be replaced by more creative ways anyway. There's hardly any correlation with getting rid of guns and homicide rates.
