This is a dedicated thread for users to bounce around and brainstorm on ideas for new roles, items, game mechanics or anything else to improve and build upon our beloved Mafia game.

Back in 2015 Sims made a thread asking if anyone had any ideas for roles since Lucid was looking to make some new ones (found here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/71173?page=1) That thread's dead now, but it's always good to try to bring the community together and come up with new stuff for the game.

Some of you might know my reputation for designing new roles and my passion for Mafia. EpicMafia is a pretty cool website and can always use some new stuff to spice up and remix the usual game formula, and I know a few of you have ideas of your own.

NOTE: If you're here to complain about Sandbox moderation or the site mods, please don't.

i don't think the imagehosting restrictions are a problem, just upload stuff to imgur it's the simplest thing ever. also mobile version is low priority imo

* more text colours is literally the most important thing ever. preferably an entire colour picker please
* either remove the imagehost-restrictions or at least show the link for images from restricted hosts
* make a mobile version that actually works and fix the other 13748 glitches

I think I made a role that gave out knives a few months ago but I don't remember my idea and can't find it in the list. Maybe call it a Cutler or something?

Just for fun I started writing some night meeting music for specific roles. I think they're too long as of right now, so I'd probably have to cut them.

real golbabomb can be detonated, once detonated golbamania will run wild on you.

These are less important to me than the previous posts, just ideas:

-The role host can make it so there are no whisper leaks. This should instead be a 3rd box that can be checked pregame(but not automatically checked)
-Add more system messages so journalist/informant can be more useful(Maybe You received a bomb! from anarchist)
-Cthulhu will jumble text to capital letters too
-If there is no killer present make admirer become killer, for instances of closed setups(they're called closed setups right?)
-Possibly make it so in closed setups if a cop spawns there's a slightly decreased chance of any other investigation role to spawn(insane cop, detective), for larger setups so to bring more variety
-Tree should be invincible to hitman

Some people got in trouble for a script that did that then it became a no vio because it was intended to be implanted soon
