I don't feel neglected. I love my parents and have a very good relationship with them. They have mouths to feed, and very bright kids to put through college besides me.
That's ridiculous, I love my parents and my siblings who need a college education too. I'll work and pay for it, I just shouldn't have to, and legislation should be implemented to end this problem.
That's not my point though. I think secondary education should be paid for, for everyone, at the expense of the military and industry, like in Europe. Why don't you?
They exist for a group of people that doesn't apply to everyone in this thread. The poor people must be making out like bandits and lavishing in their dorm rooms of gold on taxpayer money.

Is someone upset because their parents don't make six figures?
I don't approve of this joke, and I really am not trying to be that guy. That is not at all my point. My point is that kids are in the same boat at 18 years old.
You would be correct. I was referring to July, not you.
I know, but I'm not trying to be that guy here who is like: "Eff people with poor parents." I feel them, that sucks when your parents can't pay, paying for college is hard, but my parents aren't paying for it either, so why does the government pay their bill and not mine
It's not a hard concept to follow. If you grew up in a dirt poor school system you wouldn't get an education. You would leave school in Baltimore to sling drugs. There is a reason why these programs exist. They clearly don't apply to you.
That's a good point. Here's a counter point: In nearly every first world country but this one, those programs apply to everyone.
