The real question is why my parents income counts against me on FAFSA when I am 20 god damned years old. This is not my freshman year, this is my junior year. Very ridiculous.
Your parents are rich, but you're poor sounds like a civil case for child neglect. I would honestly take them to court.
He's over 18 you idiot therefore he's not a child aka not neglect
Seems like they don't give a about him. He apparently lived a childhood where he made it through all on his own.
I mean his childhood has nothing to do with now, as a child he wasn't thinking or aware how he'd pay for college so holding this "your parents are rich so I have no empathy for you" stick over his head is weird

I have a good relationship with my parents. They should not have to pay my college education. I should not have to pay it. The government should be paying it. As it stands, I will just pay it. Not the end of the world.

Yeah, I hope also, that young adults are able to focus on their education instead of worrying about how to pay for said education.
One day I hope that kids will be able to go to college without having to work full time or worry about how they are going to pay for the next semester.
