This website is far past the point where having ranked and unranked games in main lobby makes sense.
Both sandbox and main lobby suffer from this weird choice. Unranked games should go in sandbox, which will boost the ever slowing population of 12 person closed setups, and ranked games should go in main lobby.
Without the influx of unranked games being made, competitive games will not be second paged so fast, and thus fill more often, allowing more than 2 setups to be played each round.
Actually I've quite liked you for years up until this thread, but your failure to read my posts in this thread where I've responded to all of these points like 5 times each really just makes me want to personally attack your character instead of responding to them again, you lazy worthless puppet of placeholder admin.

Your username is great Bumpers, also DotA 2 is the superior game
Seems my nonsensical blather is the same as what other people are suggesting then. Let's look at options then on how to fix your issue.
People can't see your ranked games as they go to page two too fast. Let's pick from a list of options and see which is the easiest fix.
1) Display more games on the front page so people don't assume there's no ranked games being played, or don't have to browse pages to find one.
2) Have a clearer filter that people can use to omit certain games they don't want to see if they're looking for something specific.
3) Kick the majority out into a lobby they're choosing not to play in anyway because a minority isn't happy that their games aren't being played.
4) Have a personal vendetta against someone who played Dota 2 as League is clearly a better game.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If only you had cared enough to write 3 paragraphs about anything on epicmafia when you were the admin of it, instead of playing a ton of Dota 2.
Even fundamentally misunderstanding my argument and suggestion as you have done here and providing nonsensical blather that makes you feel more relevant than you are is a heck of a lot more useful than anything you did as an admin.
I'll post the same joke again after another 9 jokes.
The easy fix to this is displaying more games in process or visual filtering being more visible. The majority who play have no interest in remaining competitive for an extended period of time, the same with any scene for any games. Whether it's a sport, videogames, even Dota 2!
Even before custom lobbies came in there was a huge decline in competitive or ranked only lobby. People only wanted to play 'main games'. Now you see a majority of people wanting to play unranked out of sandbox, why do you want to change where the mass play?

I told you I'd roast the next person to make that stupid joke for the tenth time this thread. You volunteered.
Let me give you a congratulatory speech on your adminship(s), NikosCook, where I will highlight your achievements:
NikosCook is a man. He has modded this website twice over the course of 5 years. 5 whole years. That's how long it would take a baby to reach kindergarten.
So NikosCook, it is true that you were an admin at one point.
I don't think Dota 2 was out during my first stint as an admin. You'll be pleased to know at least that I haven't launched the game in over 6 months!
Is that the only revisionist history you can remember? I'm pretty sure I can remember a lot of threads like this though for the last 3 years.
More serious answer, I don't see this fixing a lot. The majority will go over to Sandbox and Main Lobby will see a large decline over time. Sandbox was always an unmoderated lobby, not a lobby for just unranked. This happened with competitive lobby over two years. The suggestions of having a competitive lobby are jokish but serious at the same time.

For all of the time you have spent administrating this website TWICE, the most memorable thing you managed to do was play too much steam.
Hey you should operate a comp lobby or something lol.

So any more mods/admins want to weigh in? Because the only chance of lucid ever implementing this or anything like this is if the staff unanimously or near-unanimously assures him it is the correct move, imo.

I'm not saying anyone should force people to forgive someone else.
I'm saying that people who care about seeing new players in competitive games should adopt that mind frame.
