This website is far past the point where having ranked and unranked games in main lobby makes sense.

Both sandbox and main lobby suffer from this weird choice. Unranked games should go in sandbox, which will boost the ever slowing population of 12 person closed setups, and ranked games should go in main lobby.

Without the influx of unranked games being made, competitive games will not be second paged so fast, and thus fill more often, allowing more than 2 setups to be played each round.

removing the unranked barrier means noobs will rack up notes/violations much easier because they'll be forced to play red hearts or turned off from the site altogether by sandbox's wild ride

I also think it's not cool to kick all the potential new players out of the main lobby, I think it's better to revive the Competitive lobby and have ranked play primarily in there.


careful with your syntax here. are you opting for separate lobbies for red hearts and gold hearts? they really should be in the same lobby, and if we get rid of the unranked barrier to ranked games then you won't really have to be worrying about people oiling their training wheels in sandbox.
