rubio's running a terrible campaign and pretty much the entire republican electorate is sitting there going "what is marco rubio doing" while he maintains the angle that he can win the election by sitting in his office and making massive ad buys
what probably happens is rubio runs a distant third through super tuesday and the republican establishment makes its peace with cruz and falls in line behind him as the antitrump with the best chance

i saw some of the ted cruz editing footage for making those campaign commercials and the stuff on the cutting room floor was horrifyingly cringey
rubio's absolutely their best chance in the general (aside from MAYBE christie) but that doesn't matter when he's self-sabotaging his own campaign to the highest degree

i honestly forgot he exists but i guess that's probably right, rubio's just a really safe candidate to win the GE as opposed to cruz, who is liberal media schmuck bait
