spoken like a true trump supporter, don't forget to also build a wall to protect your citizens

And yes, I believe the government is responsible for protecting their own citizens before they stick their neck out to help someone on the other side of the world.

no, I'm not in favor of spitting on the constitution and giving the government more power for the sake of passing laws that make us feel like we're actually making a difference. I'm willing to debate gun control, but we weren't having a gun control discussion until you came in. How hard is it to understand that there are other aspects to mass shooting other than gun control. And once again, no, suicide rates have NOTHING to do with mass shooting rates

if only germatron put as much thought into the veracity of his posts as he did the quality of his marijuana

I'm sure there's a solution here to all of this that will satisfy everyone...
How about we lock the refugees in the giant desert box but also give them all of the guns too
No you can just give all the people with the guns into the box and let the refugees in

touching story. im not going to refute anything you said because it was just rhetoric.
im glad you were able to read a single post in a 10 page thread and find enough material to to really have at me
Well, are you in favor of gun control or aren't you, person who flippantly excuses gun-related suicide rates, thinks fewer than six mass shootings happened in the last year, and believes that hundreds of thousands / millions of innocent refugees should be locked out of the US and put in a giant desert box in Syria?
Sturgeon's law states that 90 percent of everything is junk that's not worth your time. Here's a cool test for whether a generic Internet stranger falls into that 90 percent. Inform the Internet stranger that hundreds of mass shootings have occurred in the US in the last year. If they immediately and thoughtlessly respond that, because they can't list six mass shootings that happened in the last year, there must not have been hundreds of mass shootings, then they just tested positive.

This thread hasn't been a debate about gun control. You're the one bringing up gun control. No one else has. This has been a debate about mass shootings and how they are reported. Obviously gun control has a place in a mass shooting debate, but don't act like we've been talking about it.
Actually discussion of gun control is fundamentally inextricable from discussion of mass shootings and when you hide behind spectacularly ignorant garbage like "list 6 mass shootings that happened this year" and sentences that start with such psychopathic gems as "so ignoring suicides," you may as well tattoo NRA in red ink on your forehead and invite gun control advocates to cut your nose off and staple it to your Adam's apple.

you realize the only thing i said was his post contained speculation because he said one of my earlier posts contained speculation and nothing else?
haha, you trolled me good. or you just dont know what speculation means and after realizing your mistake, stalled until I left. Either way, good show.
"x doing y wouldn't have stopped all the z's because i say so" is infact speculation
wooooow. That's what it was. Christ, you really don't know what speculation is. We know what obamas executive orders were. We know how mass shooters got their guns. None of that is speculation.
so ignoring suicides (because no one can argue those are mass shootings, no matter your definition of mass), gun deaths are half what they were in '93 and seem to continue going down
I wonder why it went down from 1993 to now, could it be the residual effects of the 1994 federal assault weapons ban??
just a strange and wacky coincidence, just like the fact that guns are banned in canada and there have been more gun related crimes in the US over the course of a month than canada over the course of a decade.
