I said before the shootings aren't a new thing, the media is just been going crazy over it in the last few years. The media dont really help the problem they kind of encourage it by giving the killers their moment of fame.

What Germ was saying theres not a bunch of new crimes going on because when you look at crime rates they are going down as a whole

The "355 mass shootings in the US" statistic doesn't hold up to scrutiny. It conflates a bunch of random gun crimes, and claims it's a "mass shooting".

Claiming that some incidents count as mass shootings when by definition they do not. I think it`s clear that the person who made this list did this to artificially inflate the amount of mass shootings in america.

because I feel it`s apparent the list was not an accident I feel the use of lying is more appropriate then using misleading.

Oh never mind i got confused with something you said. The mass shootings aren't a recent occurrence, there is more media that is widespread for it to get around and its a hot topic that is over covered to push agendas and to get hits.
