thisssssss so much. i too don't understand why anyone needs a gun but if there can be background checks and regulations in place on gun sales than that's progress
you can read that if you'd like, though you probably won't because your mind is already made up, but besides that, the entire process takes 18-24 months. Not Tough Background Checks Indeed.
"tough" and "mired in bureaucratic bullsh*t" aren't synonymous dude
literally just polietly asks not to sell guns if you're not a licensed gun seller,
imagine that, not wanting people to be able to just go on ebay without knowing who they are and purchase something that can kill hundreds of people with little to no oversight

do you support a harder background check system for other issues then such as Syrian refugees
you mean like one that's already going on?
yes but those aren't even tough background checks

guns r bad for u pls stop
Ideally, i'd rather have a full gun ban, but that would literally never happen since well, you guys know the deal. so it takes some negotiations, and may have to settle for a better way to control the sale of guns so people don't kill people every day of the year
if i was one of the gods who created usa, i wouldn't let my people have guns at all but in reality it's not going to happen. there's so many crazy people out there so i think it's okay for people to buy a gun as long as their background is clean. also we need to invest in early childhood care and education because it has a direct effect on the adult they will become = better future
once you stop selling guns you can make the punishment for being caught in posession of a firearm, comitting act with a firearm or any other firearm related instances much more severe, instead of you know, making black people go to jail for years for being in posession of marijuana

I just re registered as republican. I'm voting for Donny
I'm pretty sure people don't worry about that in their day-to-day lives anyways?
Guns do way more good than harm.
Give up your freedoms for security and you'll eventually lose both. You won't deserve either of them at the point.
So you're saying nothing should be done because you won't feel secure without a gun (which, i doubt, you even own)?
What about the kids who died in Sandy Hook, or the people shot in the movie theater in Colorado, or the dozens of people shot while away at college?
How do guns do more good than harm?
Just wondering, do you support stricter gun laws or the abolition? If the latter, will anyone have guns? As in, government officials, police, security, etc?
stricter gun laws, assault weapon ban, establishing a maximum # of bullets / month
