Since the New Roles thread has become overwhelmed with self-advertising, I think a poll would encourage more discussion. I'm using a list I was given for the options in the poll, so sorry in advance if your role isn't on there.

the logan version of widow is cool and not op. lynching the widow wouldnt let doctor protect and mafia would get pr. the only part i disagree is the mafia sided thing, i think it should be town and punish village if ever lynched (just like lk, leader, secretary...)

I don't know if this was the plan already, but if the town can't win while the sidekick is alive, it'd be possible to make mafialess games with third party factions other than killer/werewolf, which would be cool.
The sidekick should be able to win when dead. If not, it can impossibly truly team up with the third parties. Imagine how awkward a meeting between a werewolf and a sidekick would be if the werewolf only needs immunity for the next day to win the game.
Sidekick needing to be alive when the third party wins doesn't really make sense from flavour perspective either.
Even if Donor isn't voted the most it should still be made for the Main Lobby, since it would be the perfect role for it, and the coding would be simple as for it.
Gambler (revision) - Each day, picks a player to gamble at night - Both players will pick rock, paper, or scissors in separate meetings - The loser dies the next day unless there is a tie - Wins after 2 successful gambits - Third party
Its more of a random role so in my opinion works better as a 3rd.
How about this role : - Duck - Sided with town, no visit - Each night ( each morning) receives a random report from a random investigating role in game. The report could be on everyone, and it can be det/cop/tracker/watcher/priest/santa ... report, or can be forger/actress/jan/gramp report. Or it can be "you are poisoned" or "you receieved a suit" report. If there is no role that can get report in your game or you are roleblocked, you get no report. - The report looks so real that jour may think that you're actually a det/ stalker - If you are visited that night, the report is 100% legit (true). If no one visits you, the report is 50% legit, aka duck report.
tldr: Duck is a blue that become a role in game that get report on random person each night. The report can be fake or true.
