the only positive to being a mod is "power", which amounts to... being in a super secret club? seeing everyone's alts? status symbol?
you could say, 'mods do what they do to improve the community', but they do it in such a superficial way - inflicting violations on people for x action - that won't have a lasting impact on 95% of the users.
the only time (non-forum) users see the mods is in the context of reports or giving violations. from that, who would think "wow mods are cool"? no one, they'd either have a neutral or negative leaning attitude towards mods.
modding sucks because you look at only the negative side of EM all day, it's no wonder people eventually lose interest/faith
they should, part-time, do something more positive, like tutoring new players or looking for a really entertaining high-level game to share with everyone
I don't mean as mod, I'm talking about the site. If he "left the site" he'll be back soon. People need to stop these dramatic posts, they come back almost instantly then go for mod again months afterwards if not sooner.

When you come to think about it, justrec's failed every frickin time [lol]
it's not supposed to happen but nothing has ever been done about it, and nothing ever will, and mods will continue to out alts to their friends. such is life.
that said i have no idea why he outed you it seems rather petty
