I'd like to state this first before I comment on this subject: I have sympathies for how the modding team is viewed and I do recognize that they work hard and should be treated better.
With that said, I'd just like to say being a mod isn't a popularity competition, being a mod means being a moderator, i.e. referee and manager. You don't have to do it, it's optional. But mods should stop expecting people are going to start liking them or respecting them simply because they are mods. You know what you're getting to. Stop expecting the community to like you. That's not what being a mod is about and if that's what you're looking for then do something else on the site like make art or something. But stop expecting the community to like you, because people on here are self righteous brats who think they are the only competitent people on here and that the world should bend backwards to serve them. It won't work. Just accept it and move on, or quit because you can't handle the infamy.

Thanks for everything you did, Bear. You were one of the best mods we ever had in regards to cheating, and you will be missed. I appreciate that you always came to me directly whenever you had an issue and spoke to me in a calm and mature manner. You also tolerated my many slip-ups; I won't lie, there were times when I was downright mean to you but you were always patient and I respect that. Thank you!
