Mirasical, there have been lots of secret fellowships in the history of earth (and there probably still are), the idea that the illuminati used to be one of them isn't that strange.
Lalchimiste, it's highly unlikely that going faster than light speed is even possible. The idea that it would send us in the past is an old idea that is based on the thought that, since light speed is the fasted speed we know and our vision is based on it, you'd go back in time if you managed to go faster. My explanation sucks a bit because I'm not a physicist. But the idea was more or less that if light from far far away reaches our solar system we see the image of another solar system as if it was in the past. The idea was that if we can travel faster than light, we would be able to 'go to' past the past I think. (My explanation is probably highly oversimplified)
But we probably can't go faster than light anyways and time is a curious thing.
Time goes slower on some places, then it goes on other places. The time passes a tiny bit faster in an orb around the earth, then it passes here, because we're closer to the gravitation of the earth and time is influenced by for example gravity. ("time is relative", they say). However the faster you move, the slower time passes, so a curious thing happens in space, because on one hand it speeds up time (less gravity) and on the other hand it slows down (higher speed) if you're an astronaut in a high velocity vehicle.
Anyways, there's actually even proof that time goes slower for those who travel at incredible speeds. In the CERN they have this thing that can let particles travel by near-lightspeed speeds, and where in normal times certain particles desintegrate very quickly, they stay intact for much longer when speed up that much in the CERN.
But still there are many people who die for silly reasons. This planet has resources so just a small % can have a good life. So it isn't designed so well. A god could have created a planet where everyone could have had enough resources.
Then math, physics and chemistry are your Gods.
I find this an argument that proves there isn't a God. Because why someone should have created a place for human race for living, like you read in the bible, and all that empty space around. If the universe was created for the man, this doesn't make sense for me. I mean the solar system is nearly 80 UA big, and the universe is like 13 bilion year light big.
Then you can talk about the evolutionism, why God manifested his self only to some populations, why God permitted the Shoah and wars in general.
