I'M BACK FOR YOUR ANNUAL RELIGIOUS DISCUSSION

so do[es] he/she/it/they exist?

about 10 years
God doesn't exist. Jesus might have but he wasn't anything special.

That's my opinion, but you're welcome to yours.

That, is very very very probably true. In the future however... Ah! <3

backwards time travel isn't possible

I wait to see that with my own eyes

Ah well, if that video says so, you might be right.

No but really, isn't it amazing that time can slow down under certain conditions while time just keeps on passing somewhere else?
I am still in awe.

God has never amazed me (if he ever exists anyways), while science did, so I might pass on that invitation sorry.

What's your point Lady

Here it is, his whole 'into the universe' series was awesome but this is the part about time travel.

ladynemesis you just need to let god into your life and he will take you to places you can only dream of

Mirasical, there have been lots of secret fellowships in the history of earth (and there probably still are), the idea that the illuminati used to be one of them isn't that strange.

Lalchimiste, it's highly unlikely that going faster than light speed is even possible.
The idea that it would send us in the past is an old idea that is based on the thought that, since light speed is the fasted speed we know and our vision is based on it, you'd go back in time if you managed to go faster. My explanation sucks a bit because I'm not a physicist. But the idea was more or less that if light from far far away reaches our solar system we see the image of another solar system as if it was in the past. The idea was that if we can travel faster than light, we would be able to 'go to' past the past I think. (My explanation is probably highly oversimplified)

But we probably can't go faster than light anyways and time is a curious thing.

Time goes slower on some places, then it goes on other places. The time passes a tiny bit faster in an orb around the earth, then it passes here, because we're closer to the gravitation of the earth and time is influenced by for example gravity. ("time is relative", they say). However the faster you move, the slower time passes, so a curious thing happens in space, because on one hand it speeds up time (less gravity) and on the other hand it slows down (higher speed) if you're an astronaut in a high velocity vehicle.

Anyways, there's actually even proof that time goes slower for those who travel at incredible speeds. In the CERN they have this thing that can let particles travel by near-lightspeed speeds, and where in normal times certain particles desintegrate very quickly, they stay intact for much longer when speed up that much in the CERN.

Intruiging, huh?

Well Hawkings sure explains it better than I can.

Does time travel exist?
In the past: no. In the future: when we manage to find the technology that allows us to approximate the speed of light for vehicles that can carry humans, the time within this vehicle will speed way slower than in the 'normal world', allowing the people within the vehicle, when slowing down and stepping out, to step out into a future time.

Does the Illuminati exist?
Maybe

Does Epicmafia.com really exist or is this just a dream?
Cogito, ergo sum.

I thought that the fact to go faster than the light was suppose to drive us in the past.

By the way I like a lot The Time Machine

The earth is the perfectly designed for life. Too close to the sun and its too hot for life, too far and its too cold for life. Too big and Certain molecules fall to the ground instead of in the air where they need to be. Too Small and the gravitational field is too weak to hold the necessary molecules on to the earth and they will drift away.

But still there are many people who die for silly reasons. This planet has resources so just a small % can have a good life. So it isn't designed so well. A god could have created a planet where everyone could have had enough resources.

Kaioxys says

Down to the Atom, science has a great number of laws that were written, not by man. But by God. Laws we all must follow.

Then math, physics and chemistry are your Gods.

Kaioxys says

Who among you has never looked out into the sky and watched in awe of how tiny we are?

I find this an argument that proves there isn't a God. Because why someone should have created a place for human race for living, like you read in the bible, and all that empty space around. If the universe was created for the man, this doesn't make sense for me. I mean the solar system is nearly 80 UA big, and the universe is like 13 bilion year light big.

Then you can talk about the evolutionism, why God manifested his self only to some populations, why God permitted the Shoah and wars in general.
