If god made us, what's with the 14 billion years of stuff before us? And why did he wait thousands of years after human civilization arose to announce his presence? He just hadn't checked in on is in a while? Or maybe he thought the Egyptian or Sumerian gods were some kind of anime and he didn't want to spoil the ending?

If I was a supreme being and I wanted to create a species to worship me, my plan would go something like this:
Create a universe. Wait 10 billion years.
Dump some primordial ooze on a planet. I know I'm not primordial ooze but this is part of my master plan.
Wait another 4 billion years to let the ooze develop itself to adjust to the planet. 99% of the subsequent species will become extinct.
When one if the life forms on the planet starts to look like me, I'll set a bush on fire so they know to worship me.

When I think about how tiny I am, my next thought isn't "this must all be here for ME" because I'm not an egotist.

3.) God wouldn't make the world such a crappy place if you didn't go around damning everything!

Rom. 1:18–20; it's called General Revelation ... it means God made it so that all of creation testifies to His name and therefore everyone deep deep deep deep deep down insides knows He's legit and if they don't acknowledge that and trust in Him ... well boohoo and dentists will be in high demand where they will be going!

Think about the vast complexities of atomic bonding, chemistry, and all other science. The way the orbits of planet's Galaxies make up our universe in beautiful ways, so that even entire galaxies pass right through each other so that not a single star collides with another.
The earth is the perfectly designed for life. Too close to the sun and its too hot for life, too far and its too cold for life. Too big and Certain molecules fall to the ground instead of in the air where they need to be. Too Small and the gravitational field is too weak to hold the necessary molecules on to the earth and they will drift away.
Down to the Atom, science has a great number of laws that were written, not by man. But by God. Laws we all must follow.
Who among you has never looked out into the sky and watched in awe of how tiny we are?
