christianity and homosexuality really don't tie in much at all but i guess some people like to believe it does for some reason
Im pretty sure that most book religions say that homosexuality is a sin in one way or another
what most books? it's mentioned like 2-3 times in slightly ambiguous ways and never in the gospel

How come so many christians bash homosexualls for not following one commandment then, when everyone isnt following all of them O_O Doesnt sound very gracefully to me
Because humans make mistakes and can be very judgmental. Thankfully, we can rely on what God himself says and not what some people who believe in him say.
Hahhahahaha

What Abrahamic Religions say is not representative of most book religions.
I have no clue what part of the bible Lev 18:22 is from but since its in the bible I assume its gods word and included in most book religions(atleast christianity)?
What do you mean by 'Book Religions'?
If you mean every religion with holy scriptures, then that's utterly inaccurate. If you mean Abrahamic Religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam) then that's fine.

Lev. 18:22, "You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination."1 Lev. 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them."
I just googled bible quotes about homosexuality, I think its pretty clear cut on what the big dude in the sky thinks
Leviticus also says this:
19 “‘Keep my decrees.
“‘Do not mate different kinds of animals.
“‘Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed.
“‘Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material.
The point is that Leviticus is now considered what was a general guideline for standards of living.
Leviticus is also from the Old Testament, which is not what defines Christianity. The Gospels of the New Testament share the message of Christianity most applicably as they are the direct teachings of Jesus, and there is no mention of anti-gay behavior. Jesus never addressed homosexuality.

Quick question, if you nitpick what you believe in the bible, are you still a proper christian or will you burn in hell for not following every command properly as the Lord has given us?
I'll probably regret posting this, but whatever.
A lot of Christians (myself included) would tell you is that the entire point of the Bible is humanity's need for grace. There are rigorous commandments that need to be fulfilled in order for a man to be holy, and doing such a thing is impossible because of our nature. The idea is that God came to take the punishment for humanity's flawed nature so human beings wouldn't -have- to follow everything down to the last letter. You may want to strive to follow every command perfectly, but you can't and you are allowed into Heaven anyway and that's the concept of grace.

Edark, you are right on point here, but it is not all Christians, just as all Muslims are not terrorists. Jesus would sit at a table and eat with anyone; he loves all of us, and that is the message that true Christianity is about.

Just not an original Hebrew Bible, where 'Hell' isn't mentioned one single time. Sheol (The Pit/The Grave, later translated as Hades/Erebos, too) being mis-translated. And The Pit sounds an awful lot like Tartarus.

Arguments regarding nitpicking are my favourite about religious debates :^)
A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales.
The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though they were a very large mammal their throat was very small.
The little girl stated Jonah was swallowed by a whale.
The teacher reiterated a whale could not swallow a human; it was impossible.
The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah."
You misunderstood what I said. Christians sin all the time, every person does. We just try to avoid it as much as we can out of respect to God, but no one is perfect. That doesn't mean we can't go to heaven.
To answer your question: "Nitpicking" from the bible, as you mentioned, is not really faith at all as you imply it. That doesn't mean you can't analyze the meaning of a verse in context: not everything is literal.
