I'd encourage people to actually read through this thread. Megs and I played every game together, but we didn't cheat. Nobody ever proved that we cheated. People consistently reported me for cheating every time I tried to trophy run, because I always did it with a buddy or two playing most of my games with me.

We can debate the merits of this approach, but it has been deemed allowed by the mods on several occasions. LOLUMAD got most of his trophies playing with not 1-2, but entire games full of the same people. I don't think this is a bad approach; playing with reliable friends makes for good games. Mafia is a party game that should be played with friends.

I never cheated for a trophy. I did cheat in like maybe six games total, the specific ones I don't really remember. It wasn't usually for victory, but to screw over Eritas on a few occasions because he and I were on rather disagreeable terms a couple of years ago.

Even if you are mentally handicapped and don't think it it's cheating you have to at least admit it gives certain people an unfair advantage over other players and at the very least shouldn't be allowed when trophy running.

There was no precedent set Connor. The only precedent is the one I already explained. A bad ruling on a report does not create a new precedent because the rule never changed. I forgot all about the piña reports but if the mods decided that piña didn't abuse it enough that doesn't mean that someone that does abuse it that much (to the mods opinion, I know that you think that piña did abuse but that's irrelevant) wouldn't get a vio

It's OGI because it counts as a PREGAME PACT. It's not enforced because its a gray area and because the mods are terrible. People are consistently using 100% honest meta to win trophys which is why trophy running is no longer fun.

i don't actually think mw should've been dq'd. he's just a bad player and easy read.

i dn't really think it's OGI so much as it is gamethrowing. you're establishing a precedent to use against you as mafia for no reason. you're basically setting a perfect rubric to lynch you any time you are not mafia. and i wouldn't really consider it OGI if used for towntelling because only morons read into that :^)
