I find it strange that someone with a spotless record would be suspended for 24 hours after winning a game - TWO DAYS AFTER THE GAME. I also find it borderline libelous to imply that someone who has a 64% winrate is "throwing games".
Here's a question I posit to you: If honestly claiming is gamethrowing, why is a moderator encouraging me to do it in game? Not to single out charley, because I don't even think that what I'm doing is gamethrowing, but if it is then what she was doing was clearly "encouraging rule breakage" or whatever other nonsense is in the rules for this site nowadays.
I don't care what arbitrary violation I get. I've known the moderation on here has been a joke since day 1. Just don't suspend me out of games for no reason when I'm mostly winning and causing no problems.
I mean, even if he gets no vio here, he's gonna be fcked every time he flips maf now if he continues this. So it will eventually lead to one. His strat is basically over.

my personal thought was that he was intentionally playing against his win condition in order to upkeep that meta so it could be Both realistically

Exactly. I see OP's intent in being to ensure he keeps his personal meta going, not to throw the game. Mostly why I'm advocating for the report to be OT'd to Cheating or OGI.

ya like i said back on page 1 if it's just someone making a joke it's not throwing and i don't believe that was op's intent (and i don't think anyone can genuinely say that they believe he was joking or using wifom lol)
So long as a player's intent isn't to throw, I really didn't see any problem with doing things like claiming maf as a joke throughout the day.
i.e. "X are you scum?" "Of course I am"
Sorry for giving ya a rough time, but it just didn't make much sense to me, and I wanted to get a better understanding of what logic went on here.

there's a difference between the intent to make a joke and the intent to honestly claim your role as mafia, they can say after the fact "it was wifom" but their intention was not wifom, their intention was to genuinely claim their role of hooker
Then what's the difference in saying "GG I was maf" and saying "I'm hooker." If you take out OP's meta, don't the two phrases mean almost the same thing?

About whether or not the hardclaiming had to do with with his meta or not. I did not get an answer so I filed the report and supplied the information I was given.
Also note that I said I don't think either are worth a gamethrow vio, but rather I think that OP's should be OT'd to cheating.
According to the report this topic is about, and what mods have said in this thread, this report should have been a gamethrowing violation.
Although I don't feel like either of these are gamethrowing, and that INeverLie should have gotten a cheating vio, but consistancy is generally a good practice.
