What's it about Emil
About a pianist who stopped playing due to the loss of his mother and then gradually opens up when he meets a violinst. Its so bittersweet.

There was this pair of trousers all the girls used to wear. They were the Adidas ones with the lane on the back near the thigh. Then the ripoff brands tried making them with 2 lines.

I just went to look for that quote. I don't know what's more embarrassing, his post, or the word 'smashee'.

Have you ever read Paul Johnson? He's full of quirky phrases. I get the impression you'd like his writing.
nah I haven't, probably worth a read given the Current Political Climate though

we have a really similar sense of humor and we "connect" really well, and every time we work shifts together we nearly get into trouble because we get into shenanigans or break the rules.

she made me promise i would work with her again before i left, but idk how to pick up a shift =(

ah shoot, i probably have a crush on them

i used to keep a log of excerpts I really liked from books just to read through every once in a while. words can be really cool sometimes, the way authors describe things is really fun
I have a bunch of stuff on my phone like that from when I've been reading. I also keep lists of words I'm unfamiliar with, or feel I should use more often.
i need to start doing stuff like that, it's a good way to stop becoming complacent
