crypto, gira, shivv, soben, and all of these overrated players also hammered correctly very consistently

shucks who is good then?

maybe i just dodged all of the fools that played that setup

honestly crypto wasn't even that impressive, he was just super aggressive to get players to vote with him. he was like brownpimp but without caps and used a bunch of insults. with the new HC rule he'd find it hard to play that way without racking up HC vios

The cop was the worst part about O2R because everyone wants them to out before doing anything

it's probably because gov is a bad role but i always had fun on o2r, it felt like a good combination of vdli and jan 2.0 or something

it's easier to scumhunt with a cop so scumhunting came naturally but it never played itself like jan 2.0 or gai

i think it's the second best setup after setup the best setup which is the best setup

peta is probably one of the best players that is also enjoyable to play a game with.

shivv is overrated too

he played like a really bad version of crypto

o2r was a good setup that phased out completely

how come?

governors in main lobby are just a bad idea sadly

turq was ok as maf but holy moly as town did she suck. every game i played with her she tunnelled on the obvious town and got really emotional

turq and i were the best maf duo, we would go on streaks everytime we played together. we were so good yall n1ggas would've made 20 pastebins

Dawnstart never really took off though, did it? I know the cry n oh setup became standard over cns but anything else?

setup like that greatly shapes the rest of the game. It'd be interesting to see winrate splits depending on the N1 outcome.

This is why I heavily prefer dawnstart.

One of the reasons winrate matters less than people think-if I strictly played dawn start setups I would post 1.5% or so higher of a winrate than a me who strictly played setups with a night start. Why? I can't get N1ed.

Yeah precisely. The quality of the setups you play make a huge difference.

setups like jan 2.0 and VDLI are slightly town sided. i'd like to see a player get above 60% w/r on setups with layout points ranging outside 65-55

pre-merge cry n spy was my favorite.

this is why setup the best setup (stbs) is the best setup

i think you can carry yourself on jan 2.0 but after a while you'll get enough towns that it'll balance your stats out to 55% at minimum

if you want a high rate at 10,000 points you shouldn't play a 10 person setup in general

yeah a strong player is likely to do better on a setup that's less mechanics oriented because they get a greater degree of control and influence.

shucks says

jan 2.0 really isn't that hard to get a high win% on, it's incredibly luck-based

yeah by this i meant him playing with his friends = easy wins. sorta like reverse mafia being luckbased but can easily be pointfarmed when playing with friends

like a setup like jan plays differently depending on the day 1 kill and immediately can put one side at a notable advantage. Scumhuntier setups less so.
