I for one am excited for the new alternate hedgehog-typed pikachu evolution.

Anyway, with the new Meowth it seems Alola forms are going to be exactly what I thought they'd be. Time will only tell if they flood the pokedex with them too.

I never said the game is getting old and repetitive, but hey maybe I just don't like the way this game is shaping up. Just because they're innovating does not mean it's good/

i would be more okay with this if it were implemented in earlier games, but yeah i completely agree. I get that with each region species of pokemon are adapted to better fit the climates and stuff but they've never done anything like this before, so to suddenly do it now is kind of confusing. (still though i would give my life for ice vulpix/ninetails)


It's definitely welcome in my opinion, but I'm worried that half of Gen VII will just be these new alternate forms like how it was in Gen VI with mega evolutions. I guess for me I don't really care when it's implemented in the series, I just care about the execution of it all.


How it went down:

Gamefreak: Hey fam we need more ideas for pokemon OC is hard lol

Nintendo: How about you go on deviant art, find some fan art of evolutions for older pokemon, then give them a cool name like Mega evolutions

Gamefreak: lol sounds good fam, what if that gets stale tho

Nintendo: Then u just find some palette and type swapped pokemon lol like ice type sandshrew lol ppl will eat that sh!t up
