Epicmafia Adventure #2

A text based adventure game, hosted by me. Post to join the adventuring party. Once you post, I will let you select your starting items, and once everyone is ready, the adventure begins.

You will perform actions by typing "-" then the action. I will then tell you the result of your actions, and roll dice if necessary. Be advised that you cannot take back your actions once you perform them, and that success or even advancement past the first room is not guaranteed to your party. You will need to play smart, and work together if you wish to succeed in this adventure.

P.S. don't sign up if you aren't willing to put a good amount of effort in, last time I did this people took it pretty seriously.

You stand before an impressive moat with the rest of your adventuring party, the murky water not far below. Across it, an enormous gothic castle with decaying stone walls, several tall spires twisting upwards. The air is thick and damp. You can hear faint sounds of people gossiping in the air, though there is no one in sight save for your silent party. A moldy, yet thick wooden bridge invites your entry to the castle.

What you and your comrades seek is the library room of the castle, which contains the mythic everybin document. It is said that every player on the site's most foul deeds are recorded there. You have all done things you're not proud of, things you'd rather were forgotten. The document must be destroyed so that you can finally fulfill your lifelong dream of becoming an epicmafia moderator. And so an alliance of players was formed to brave the dangers of....

You ask Eris this, but he ignores your question as it seems he is gearing up to make an announcement now that everyone has arrived.

When you get to the huddle, you get your pills out, and hold them out at Dennis.

Dennis won't let you near him, and moves away.

Eris lowers his scepter, and ignores your question.

-retracts tentacle arm and apologizes to eris and asks him "do you think my tentacle arm is weird?"

You notice Eris' gesture and retract your tentacle arm.

Roll an d8 for a perception check to see if you noticed his disapproval in time for Eris to back off. You need a 2 or higher.

Dennis jerks away from hardeffingworker as he extends the hat, growling at him.

-retracts tentacle arm and apologizes to eris and asks him "do you think my tentacle arm is weird?"

-if dennis lets me pet him i put my psychic communications hat on him to see what he's thinking, and if not i give them both to ryuko so that he can put one on dennis and tell me what dennis is thinking

Upon arrival at the group, you attempt to place one of your hats upon Dennis.

Roll an 8 sided die to see if this is successful. You need a 7 or higher.

You casually extend your tentacle toward Eris while you wait for the stragglers.

Eris raises his scepter at you and gives you a stern look.

You leave the huddle and begin moving past eris toward the castle entrance.

Eris notices this and makes no attempt to stop you, but positions himself to the northern side of the drawbridge facing in toward the center, presumably so that he can still have eyes on you.

Eris replies to Ryuko that he's mostly just ****ing around with you guys, but that he's also definitely here to help you in your quest and stuff.
