i'm curious to see how the community feels about diagnosing yourself at home, whether it'd be mental illness(or lack of mental illness) or physical stuff. i personally think it's a terrible idea, and i also think pointing that out isn't wrong.

I can actually be more high than mighty than you because unlike you I'm not trapped perpetually in a working class job with no hopes of escape. I've actually done things with my life and managed to escape my upbringing to reach the middle class. You see I've made things of myself despite being, guess what, a victim of childhood abuse. I don't wallow in mediocrity while giving myself pats on the back pretending to be a good person.
Also, your generation is absolutely spineless. You're all meandering tired children whining about everything and everyone instead of actually doing things. It's not even a matter of age, it's a matter of mindset. And actually, this notion of lacking control is pretty funny. I had no control over things that happened to me as a child, no one does, and believe me it was quite a childhood, but i certainly control my outward expressions, my thought processes, and haha, my typing styles. Total shame you'd rather accept the mediocrity and delusions of others instead of actually helping them become educated functional adults.
I also don't pretend to be things I'm not, whereas you routinely act like a good person on one hand, and behave like a petty loser on the other. I'm honest to my own being, try it sometime, it's hella-refreshing. Alternatively perhaps you should just finish what I started, no one will miss you anyway, because it's not like anyone loves you or ever will, how could they?

i have my own experiences and i'll stand by them and i dont really care what others think not saying he's a douche because to a degree i agree that self-diagnosis is a problem (unless you intently research things), just saying that because being an to a kid is wrong
harunan you really have a bad habit of putting yourself where you don't belong, not everyone who disagrees with what you say is automatically a douche. that type of view makes you a douche though. you say its unfair to bully someone whos a minor, and most likely you're against bullying in general. yet you find it passable to call somebody a predator and a pedophile which are both untrue. your moral grounds really confuse me, but it's just that that you use your morals to fit your needs and they disappear once someone makes you upset
also this thread could have been great if you had people like riddler and zovea providing comedic value and then guys like peta sonseray cleaning house

The frontline treatment for schizophrenia is anti-psychotic medication. I fail to see how 'diagnosing' something helps you without some way to manage it? It's also much more immediately apparent than trying to diagnose personality disorders in teenagers. The reason it's not done generally is because teenagers are, by their nature, self-serving, self-interested, have attachment and emotional issues, are moody and depressed, and so on and so forth.

The fact you think I care what you think of me is an example of something hilarious. The fact your generation is so spineless, and automatically interprets any sort of direct, coarse, and honest language as 'bullying' is an example of something that's sad.
