I haven't read the manga and I already know who the culprit is. It's painfully obvious after Episode 6.

I'm confused though. Was the obvious identity of the culprit INTENTIONAL or just a product of bad writing?

I honestly couldn't care less because it is pretty good though. :D

Kubo is literally making it up as he goes. After the soul society arc, he obviously didn't know where to go and it showed by how big of a mess it is.

agreed w/ this. i watched that trash for 100+ episodes as it was coming out, gave up at the arrancar and everything i've heard past that is just awful, just a shaggy dog story of tortorous failure

if you want generic shounen BS you can do better

please give me some shounen recs

yu yu hakusho

+good dub if you don't wanna watch subs
+dark tournament
+well-written characters and the protag isn't just a mary sue
+smile bomb
+has moments of genuine humor that isn't just a filler episode
-it's old and the three kings arc sucks

why is "it's old" a negative

some quality here and there, especially early episodes
