I'm guessing that's a no to Revolutionary Girl Utena (which is kind of magical girl and worth watching, HEDGER... tho idk if i'd recommend to you).

ERASED is still good but i have yet to actually be bothered by the cliffhangers. I enjoy it but I guess i'm not addicted yet.

Like, I can't imagine being shocked by the next episode. Eh.

Has anyone here watched Revolutionary Girl Utena?

I watched it a while ago after avoiding it for an eternity because of its genre, even though the person who recommended it to me was someone whose opinion I respected a lot. It's well-written, thoughtful, unique, and wrought with symbolism. On the negative side, it's old and the art style reflects that; it's somewhat repetitive; a lot about the plot and ending is left ambiguous; and there are certain aspects that could make someone uncomfortable. It's not really playing the magical girl genre straight, AFAIK.

Not necessarily recommending it to Katie as a Magical Girl shoujo type anime (although she might like it! I wouldn't know); just wondering if anyone here knew about it.
